Urvi's pov

Tapping my foot against the concrete, I hum a song that I heard recently as I wait for Shawnie. The song has been whizzing around my head for a quite while. What to do? The song is quite catchy even though Shawnie's taste in this particular song wasn't my favourite. Shawnie has been curious more than ever lately, diving into the world of music entertainment now.

I snap out and call out for Shawie who was inside the house to hurry up. We were about to go out when his nature called all of a sudden. Shawnie finally decides to appear while panting actively.

"Sorry! The water kept coming out!" He apologised for being late.

"What? Shawnie! I didn't need to know that!" I shout out loudly at his detailed information.

"No! Not the pee! The water on the floor. "He confirms giggling at my stupidity. I sigh in relief. "But the pee was satisfying too!" He passes me a mischievous grin before receiving a light slap on the chest from me.

"Shawnie Ugh. Let's go. By the way, do you even know what "satisfying" is?" I roll out my eyes. We both begin to finally walk on the alleys.

Shawnie enthusiastically nods. "TV! Shawnie heard that on the TV!"

He's getting better day by day. I remember when it was difficult for him to even understand my gestures.

"TV is teaching you a lot huh?" I stop walking, making Shawnie halt too.

I tum to face him and reach his head to fix the dark-browned hair, his hair was sticking out at the front, for which, he was feeling a bit itchy and uncomfortable. As I was fixing his hair, my palm touched his icy ears. I lay my palm flat on his ears as he passes me a smile, telling me how warm my hands are. With a shared giggle, I finish fixing his hair and continued walking

*Time Skip*

"Shawnie, try this!" order him for the fourth time and he shakes his head with a firm, stubborn "No."

"Ugh! We came here to buy your clothes. So try this!" I say, almost in a threatening tone as his constant whining was slowly getting on my nerves. We were in a shop full of clothes, but the male next to you decided to remind you how much of a child he was.

"Shawnie don't like clothes." He frowns this time before catching an ice cream shop through the shop's door. "Shawnie wants that!" His face lights up as he points at the shop.

I huff before saying a big no. "No! Get inside the trial room and try this!" I try to push him to the trial room but ended up in whining mess with Shawnie. He simply won't give up and get inside.

People were passing us weird looks since it didn't look nice how he was a grown-up guy, fighting and pushing against a girl like me. I had no time to slow down my force against his body; if he was stubborn then I am going to prove I am way ahead.

"NO." He gives me a final push harshly. I land on my ass in a matter of second, no matter how much of a child the male was from inside, he was still physically stronger than me. It didn't hurt me though, however, it also didn't look pleasant to other people present in the shop. For them, it indeed seemed like Shawnie was hurting me.

An older lady approaches me, "Honey, you alright? Is this young man hurting you?" She asks on a serious note, firmly holding my arms. Before ! could speak, I hear Shawnie talking.

"Hurt? Did Shawnie hurt Urvi?" Shawnie guiltily mumbles. I could notice the horror in his eyes. I shake my head instantly but before I could confront, he goes into the trial room and locks the door.

Shoot.

I turn to the lady and politely say to excuse me. "I am sorry to worry you, I'm totally fine. It was nothing serious."

The lady leaves and people no longer cared as the argument stopped so they started to mind their own business and carry on shopping.

I knock the door and call out for Shawnie but no reply ringed my ears from the other side. I could sense he was upset and feeling guilty for hurting me, though I didn't really know how to confront the man without physically being next to him. Defeatedly, I repeat the words of consolation, but Shawnie didn't care to budge.

"Shawnie, I'm not hurt. You didn't hurt me." I said while knocking the door again.

"No. Shawnie did. Shawnie should hurt him too." As soon as he speaks, I hear a loud bang noise. My heart jumps immediately.

"Oh my God, NO! Don't you dare to hurt yourself!" I scream and mentally thank god that trial area is almost empty at this time. "If you do, then I will hurt myself." I threaten him out of panic.

"No." I hear him mumbling under his breath. "Don't hurt."

I started biting my lips instinctively as nervousness beginning to engulf my being. Wait, why am I not calling anyone yet? Instead of just waiting for Shawnie to open, I can call somebody from the shop to open it. With that, I turn myself from the door abruptly without looking anywhere. As a result, my dazed head bumps into a chest. A shirtless chest, to be very specific.

A familiar scent hit me. Almost overwhelming my nostrils, I breathe a huge amount of air which had a minty hint of strawberry scent, but with a slight coffee flavour intermingling with the surrounding. Unknowingly, I find myself inching my nose near his neck, inhaling deeply. He didn't push me back though, instead, his palm snaked around my waist and pull me closer.

Shit. Why am I smelling a stranger?

I push his bare chest out the way and witness a black haired male falling on the ground. Mentally grateful that the trial area was furnished with carpet as it seemed like a hard fall for his butt. I horrifically angle and see the guy's face only to enlarge my eyes in pure, utter shock.

OH!

Why it has to be him out of everyone?
