Sighing over his papers, Mew was studying on his precious Friday night.

He had a lot of work to do for his classes and now he finally had some time to catch up with it with his very busy and tight schedule. Gulf was out with some of his friends and he was a little disappointed that he couldn't join them. He really needed to let loose after these busy times but here he was still working hard before he could relax.

Gulf had asked him though if he wanted to join them, and he almost gave in but he knew these papers wouldn't finish themselves, so he declined. Now he regretted ever going for his PhD, he so wanted to go out and have a few drinks with his friends and Gulf of course, but now he was some house mouse studying on his precious night off.

He sighted for the 24467678 time and dropped his pen. He just couldn't focus on his papers anymore, he leaned back watched the clock just strike 11.30 pm. He hoped Gulf would return soon he was getting a little lonely out here.

He grabbed his phone to ask Gulf when he would return and he saw he got a message from Mild, he had sent him a picture with the group of friends.

It seemed Gulf was having a good time with the way he was laughing on the photo holding some type of alcoholic drink probably. Mew smiled to himself, now he was really jealous he couldn't see Gulf like this.

Gulf wouldn't normally let loose like this and Mew really wanted to witness a carefree Gulf sometimes. He texted Gulf and replied to Mild with a laughing emoji before he got up. He decided it was time to stop studying and take a shower and head to bed. He would wait there for Gulfs return to hear him out, he laid his phone on the kitchen table and went ahead and took a shower.

After coming out while drying his hair, wearing only his sweatpants he took his phone from the kitchen table to see if Gulf had replied, but to no avail he didn't have any new messages.

He sighed.

It was 12 am already so he decided to just go to sleep, Gulf had a key so getting home wouldn't be a problem for him. He threw the towel in the hamper and slipped under the cover, soon falling asleep.

1 am.

A hammered Gulf stumbled to the door of their apartment, eyes half closed and a stupid smile adored his face. He reached around for his keys and with some trouble found it with his left hand inside his right back pocket of his jeans. He fished it out and tried to open the door. After 5 tries to get the key in the hole he found out he was using the wrong key. So, he strained his eyes and searched for the right key while giggling to himself.

"iiymm.. So sjtupid... hehehe" he mumbled out.

Finally finding the right key he opened the door after another 3 tries.

"babyyyy.... I'm home!!!'' he slurred loudly into the dark apartment. He stumbled inside almost tripping over his own feet and toed of his own shoed and shrugging out of his jacket. He threw it somewhere next to him before he walked into the living room.

"Meeeeww...." he whined out. The apartment was dark and Mew was nowhere to be found. He sulked a little bit because he really missed the man. He was very sad that Mew had to study this night and now he was finally home and he wasn't even here waiting for him! With a pout he walked over to the bedroom, he should probably be sleeping already...

A sulking Gulf tripped into the bedroom and groaned from stubbing his toe against the doorframe. Something stirred in the bed and Gulf looked up.

"Meeeww... are you awake...??" he whispered.

He slipped in further into the room and watched the sleeping form on the bed. He licked his lips when he saw Mew sleeping shirtless with only his sweatpants on. He was laying on his back with one arm under his pillow and a leg pulled up.
