vampires

chapter two

i opened my eyes but immediately shut them closed tightly as my eyes became sensitive to the light

i slowly opened my eyes leaving them squinted open, i looked around the room confused and got up from the bed

right as i got out the bed i fell over, and someone came running over to me trying to help me up

"where am i?"

"your in the nurses office, my office" she answered before walking out of the room to talk to the assistant principal

i look up to see aurora making her way over to me

"what the hell happened, why does my head feel like it's about to fall off?" i couldn't remember anything that happened and when i tried to remember my head started to burn

"i don't know what the fuck happened but they're saying that maybe you were allergic to something you ate? i dont fucking know what they're talking about ... an allergic reaction wouldn't be that bad i don't think" she spoke out

i never touched my food so i know for a fact it wasn't an allergic reaction, they'd make up any excuse they could find just because their too lazy to do their job and find out what really happened

i slowly walked over to my jacket trying my best not to fall or trip over anything and right as i grabbed my jacket the nurse walked back in

"sweetie you have to get your rest" she says rushing over to me trying to help me back to the bed

"i'm fine, really i feel great" i respond putting on a fake smile "are you sure i don't want you passing out again" she says worriedly "i'm sure besides aurora will take care of me" i giggle out

we both turn our attention towards aurora and she's on on her phone laughing at something

"aurora" i whisper harshly as i glance at the nurse for a second

"huh" she answers tearing her eyes away from the screen

"i said you'll take care of me ... right" i forced a teethy smile on my face as i stared at her waiting for her answer

"oh yeah totally, i'll help her around school even if it means i'll be late to class and i'm very serious about school so that's a huge deal" she says shaking her head trying to keep in a laugh

aurora doesn't give a shit about school she skips almost everyday except for the classes we have together but all she does is talk and distract me

"okay, i'm trusting you" the nurse says to aurora while walking over to her desk

once she came back over to us, she gave both of us passes to class and let us choose any candy we wanted

"thank you" we both yell before leaving her office

"i have to start getting sick more often .. i could get use to this" she laughs taking the wrapper off her sucker

we arrive at the door of my chemistry class and aurora gives me a hug "i'll see you after class" she smiled and slapped my ass while walking away

why are the straightest people the gayest

i walked into my classroom, handed my teacher the late pass and glanced around the classroom looking for a seat

there was only two seats open; one in the back of the classroom by the boy that always picks his nose and rubs it under the desk or the seat next to billie

right now it doesn't sound like such a bad idea to go sit next to him but i'd rather not

i walked up to the desk where billie was, pulled out the chair and sat down on the side closest to the window

i stared at her rubbing my finger over my lips while putting all my attention to hers, i never noticed how perfect she was let alone her lips, observing all her features i was oblivious to what the teacher was saying that is until she looked at me

i snapped my head towards the teacher and pretended to write down notes so she wouldn't suspect that i was staring at her like i had just seen medusa's head

"with that being said, we are going to start a project, this project will be fifty percent of your grade so i advise you to manage your time wisely" he says pacing back and forth in front of his desk

"for this project you'll need a partner and instead of you choosing i have chosen for you, you'll be working with the person right beside you" no fucking way i'm working with her

"there isn't enough time in this class to work on the project and start our new lesson so you'll have to work on it out of school as well" he adds

"fuck" i whispered very lowly looking out of the window

one: she's very intimidating
two: she could murder me and no one would know
three: have i ever mentioned she's fucking intimidating!?!

it could be worse i mean at least she's not a vampire
