chapter twenty three

at last, we arrived at the covens mansion. raven pulled her keys out of the car before exiting and making her way over to my door. she opened it and smiled while holding her hand out for me to grab

i would've grabbed onto it if my hands weren't occupied with these big ass books. my lips morphed into a straight line and i stared at raven, "how am i suppose to grab your hand?"

raven lowered her hand and grabbed the books from my lap, "see, now you can hold it"

holding both books in her right hand, she slid her hand through mine as we walked into the deserted mansion, "where is everyone?" i asked

raven slid her hands from mine and walked over to the table where she placed the books at, "they're either training or stealing blood packets" she responded before sitting on the couch and grabbing a controller

i glanced at the books, and internally groaned. at school i compelled the teachers to give me a's but here, i couldn't cheat my way out of it

"i'm going to take a shower" raven nodded as she turned on her ps5 and put her headphones over her head. i rolled my eyes and made my way up the stairs

since i've been coming over here a lot lately, i brought clothes along with the ones raven bought me. i walked into her closet and glanced over all my items. i wanted to be a tease so i grabbed a pink half shirt along with long pink socks. i began debating on whether i'd wear pants but i decided to stick to panties since no one was in the house

i grabbed my clothes and stripped down. i turned the knob of the hot water to the max while turning the cold water knob to the minimum

as soon as i saw the steam rise from the water i got in, submerging my body underwater. my tense shoulders relaxed and i began to feel my worries fade away. it felt like all my problems were being washed away along with the stream of steaming hot water that flowed down all the curves of my body

after a while of suffocating from the steam of the shower, i turned it off and began putting on my very revealing outfit. once i slipped on my socks, i glanced at my self in the mirror and put my hair in a messy bun, taking some of the curls out.

i slowly made my way downstairs dreading the moment i'd have to read through those books. i walked past the books on the table and made my way towards raven who had multiple packets of blood around her while her eyes stayed glued on the t.v. i glanced at the tv and by the looks of it she was playing call of duty online

"you fucking hacker there's no way you made that shot" she yelled into her headset. i rolled my eyes and made my way to the books. i picked up one and walked back over to the couch. raven had blood packets all over it so i pushed them to the floor and sat down

she was so into the game that i don't even think she noticed i was in the room. i opened the book and began reading through it. it wasn't as bad as i thought it was. each page had four spells maximum

as i read through the very unnecessarily large book i kept getting distracted by ravens grunts and yelling but i couldn't say i was too mad because some of them were funny

"ugh!! kill me again and i shall search the depths of this retchet earth to find you and once i do i'll drink every ounce of your blood until you drop dead!!" she was a very bad loser. i tore my eyes away from raven and glanced at the tv to see that the same person killed her again. i think it was the same person, all the characters look the same to me

"haa" the person laughed through the headset. ravens eyes fluttered clothes but after a few seconds they slowly opened exposing her gold eyes. she crushed the blue controller and threw it against the wall before running her fingers through her hair in frustration
