chapter seventeen

"baby you were all floating and shit!" billie yelled happily darting down the road from the castle

i crossed my arms, "you know, i'm still pissed at you"

"i would never say that about you"

"obviously that's a lie because ... you did say it"

"it was only to get you mad"

"are you happy because i'm still mad" i replied glaring out of the window

"you can't stay mad at me forever" i could hear the smirk in her voice

"yes i can"

"no you can't" she whispered placing her hand on my inner thigh

of course i couldn't stay mad at her i mean who could. i'm just relieved she didn't mean what she said back there because i could feel my heart break into a million pieces as she said those words

no one has ever made me feel the way that billie does and i have no idea how she does it. i was falling for her and it was scaring me

she has me wrapped around her finger and she doesn't even know it

i mean how can someone be so perfect? besides the fact that she's a vampire but still

i was soon snapped out of my trance as billie sped down the road going way over the speed limit

"billie slow down!" i yelled

"not until you stop being mad at me"

"i'm not mad anymore slow down!" she let the windows down and pressed on the gas hard

she's trying to kill me and i haven't even lived yet

i sunk back into my seat and grabbed my seat belt as hard as i could. at least if we crash i wouldn't fly out the window like the flying fuck i don't give

she finally hit a backroad pressing on the breaks as hard as she could jerking my body forward

"what the actual fuck is wrong with you!"

"you're no fun" she pouted taking her keys out of ignition

i was getting creeped out at the fact that we were surrounded by trees where no cars passed by

on the left side were trees and on the right side there was a wide field with tall grass, there were three streetlights but they barely lit anything

the street was almost pitch black

i looked away from the window and back at billie, "i think we should go, i have this bad feeling"

"are you done being mad at me?"

"i'm serious billie, start the car!" i began having visions, flashes of vampires

i couldn't quite make out where they were but it was a very dark place

i glanced out of the window and saw a shadowy figure standing in the field of long grass, i glanced at billie "do you see that?"

"see what?" when i turned my head towards where the figure had been standing it was gone

"billie start the car, now!" she did as i said and started the car. my senses were screaming that something was wrong

billie slowly drove down the long road, "go faster!" i yelled

"i thought you wanted me to slow down" she glanced at me

"that was before i began to see-"

our headlights began to flicker on and off rapidly before turning off completely, the streetlights all popped one by one until they were all out and soon we were engulfed in darkness
