hand in hand, raven and i walked down the hallways of hellivore high. the crowded hallway parted as though jesus parted the red sea. everyone stared at us with shocked faces and i couldn't give a flying fuck what they thought about us. i guess it's a perk of being a vampire

after raven helped turn me into a vampire, i felt nothing but glorious. all my heart break, all my emotions, and all my anguish disappeared as soon as i dug my fangs deep inside a humans neck

since billie decided to extend her stay at wicca territory, raven took her throne as the covens new leader. the vampires were hesitant and skeptical seeing as raven was no primus nor an elder but quickly obliged since raven let them do whatever they wanted without punishment unless they disrespected her or her wishes

once raven took the throne she asked me to stand alongside her as her mistress. she had given me countless humans to feed on without me having to go out. if my humanity wasn't turned off i'd actually have pity for them but i felt no remorse nor regret whatsoever

a couple nights after i turned into a vampire i accidentally burned myself forgetting that i couldn't stand in direct sunlight and that's when raven gifted me a ring. the same ring her and billie wore, the lapis luzili ring gemstone enchanted by witch ancestors

not only did it heal my painfully burned skin but it also heightened my powers. without even trying, my powers went spiral as they reacted to the gemstone but with the help of raven and malia, i learned to control them, at least until it was time to train again. i'd have to see billie again and as much as i wanted to care i didn't. the only thing i cared about was raven and blood of course

human blood is simply resplendent. the taste is an indescribable sweet heavenly nectar beyond anything a human could comprehend. It's like being able to perpetually exist off nothing but sweet desserts without any negative health repercussions

i have no idea what i was thinking when i declined the offer

as we walked up to my locker, raven let go of my hand and began to put in the code for my locker. once i met up with her i smiled as she opened it for me

"thank you"

"anything for you, mistress" raven responded before grabbing my hand and placing a gentle kiss upon it. she let go of my hand and once she did i dove into my locker for the books i'd need in class

"y/n! where the hell have you been and why aren't you returning any of my texts?!" aurora questioned quite loudly stomping her way over to me with jazmine behind her

i took my books out of my locker and slammed it closed, "i've been busy" i turned around and shrugged while smiling at raven

"too busy to answer a text from your best friend?"

"look i'm sorry for not answering your texts" i pleaded, as i grabbed her hand showing her that i felt bad

"are you really?" no, not at all "i've been worried sick about you!"

"aurora i've just been working extra hard on school, there's nothing to be worried about."

"and you couldn't answer my texts or calls because?" she furrowed her eyebrows. jasmine stood behind her with her arms crossed silently agreeing with every word that spilled from auroras mouth

"come on aurora, you know how you distract me when i'm actually trying to get work done. if i answered then i wouldn't be able to focus you know that." i squeezed her hand

her face still creased in anger and hurt, "i understand that, but for a week? everytime i knocked at your door your parents would answer"

"and what did they say?" i raised my eyebrows
