with the war at obsidian shadowing over the witches, they began to prepare. training, every moment they had. no one knew the power kitana held, so they trained exhaustingly

now, y/n have been training hard, in the presence of the priestess. none of the witches were allowed into the room as the priestess taught y/n all there is know

y/n went back home to bid her friends and family a goodbye, following an 'i love you' in fear that she might not survive

after her farewell, she made her way to the coven's mansion demanding them down to the blood range. now y/n was no coven leader, but she had hope that they'd listen to what she had to say

she explained everything to them, from billies enchantment to the war at obsidian. y/n knew there weren't enough witches to battle kitanas army so she did the only logical thing, siding with the vampires

without the peace treaty, the vampires became doubtful believing it was a set up, but it was far from that

kitana had demons and vampire hunters in her army, but with the power of the vampires along with the witches they'd be bound to win

the vampires skeptically agreed, and though the witches were worried about welcoming hundreds of vampires into wicca territory, they knew it was a necessary necessity

witches and vampires gathered in the priestess' room awaiting for her to speak as she glanced around the room at the armored legion

"the war starts at dawn"she priestess began, "we will march to obsidian before sunrise. don't let fear consume your thoughts, control your emotions, if anything use anger. remember you're capable of doing things beyond imaginable." she nodded

silence poured into the room as everyone bowed before the priestess before exiting . now, the witches were frightened even if they didn't want to admit it, but the vampires, they were a different story

none of them were afraid, a simple flick of a switch and off goes there emotions

the war at obsidian was just another obstacle they'd have to overcome, and they weren't too worried

the priestess called for y/n to stay back, and so she did. feeling the familiar pit of worry and fear in her lower abdomen. everything was worrying her and as hard as she tried she couldn't pull her self together

even trying to turn her emotions off didn't work, her witch side overpowering her request

"yes priestess?"

"how are you feeling?"

"honestly, not good"

"what's troubling you?" the priestess questioned

"everything, fear that i'm not strong enough to defeat kitana" y/n sighed, trying her best to release her stress

"don't worry so much child, believe in yourself, stay true to who you are and without a doubt your powers will spiral out and obey your every command within heartbeat. after all, you are a blood witch aren't you? one of the most powerful sorceress to walk the earth. show them what true power looks like"
