My eyes fluttered open. I looked at my surroundings through my blurred eyes, realizing I was still in bed. I groaned, pulling the covers back over my head to avoid the sunlight that was shining through the window.

"Good morning sleepyhead"

I peeked from the covers, over to the doorway where the blonde was standing. I smiled at her lovingly. "How long have you been up?"

"Not long." She made her way from the doorway over to where I was, giving me a kiss.

"Come on y/n it's time to get up. I made breakfast" Her voice was calm. I could wake up to it every morning and never get tired of hearing it.

I pulled the covers off me, motioning for the blonde to give me one last kiss before getting up.

She rolled her eyes at me, leaning in, meeting her lips with mine. "Alright, come on we have a big day planned today."

"A big day?" I walked besides her down the stairs, seeing a stack of pancakes on the table.

"Wow you made all this?"

"Just for you" She smiled and pointed to the chair, giving me a sign to sit down. I thanked her and took a sip of the hot chocolate she had made along with it.

"I took into consideration what you said last night. I've lived here for as long as I can remember. And well, I came to the conclusion that moving away from this place would be the start of a new life. Our new life."

She put her hand on my shoulder, looking down on me with a warm smile.

I'd admit, I never knew those words would be what I needed to hear most on the start of a new day.

"You really mean it?"

She nodded, moving to sit across from me, taking a bite of her pancakes. "I do mean it, and I want to do whatever will make you happy."

I reached for her hand, holding it tight. "Your happiness comes first. Are you sure this is something you want to do?"

The blonde nodded in agreement. "We'll leave today. I already looked at apartments while you were asleep, and found an affordable one. The drive will be 6 hours at most from here."

I got up in excitement, walking over to hug her from behind. "You're the best." She turned around to look at me, smiling at my reaction.

I finished breakfast, and ran upstairs to get ready for the move. I packed all the important things I had, and left the blonde to pack her things at her own place.

An hour later, after having everything packed, I took a shower and threw on a sweatshirt, and my favorite pair of jeans. I looked in the mirror, blow drying my hair, and putting on little makeup.

When I was finally ready, I heard the front door open from the downstairs. "Y/N i'm coming in"
I made my way down the stairs, to see the blonde with her car parked outside from behind her.

I turned around, giving one last look at the house. It was the place this all started after all. I felt myself being more happy and excited then scared and disappointed for this move. Billie was the one who changed that.

I gathered all my things, and placed them in the back. It was easier, knowing she had a much better car than the one I used to have.

I heard a voice from behind me as I was shutting the back door. "You ready to go?"

I looked back at the blonde. "This is the exact place I was standing when we met. Crazy right?"

She smiled lightly. "And i'm glad I met you, Y/N" She squeezed my shoulder tight, opening the car door, taking one last look at the area before driving off.

We were one hour into the drive. Talking stories, laughing along with each other. It felt like I was living a dream.

"Hey billie. Thank you. You really changed my life." I squeezed one of her hands tight, letting go seconds later so she was able to drive.

"You changed my life in ways you couldn't imagine Y/N"

We smiled at one another, telling a few more stories until I dozed off to sleep.

"Y/N.. Y/N were here"

I opened my eyes, feeling myself laying in an uncomfortable position. A sharp pain came across my neck as I sat up, seeing the blonde looking back at me. I traveled my gaze over to the car window, seeing it was now dark out. My eyes came across an apartment building. It came clear to me that we arrived in New York.

"We're here we're finally here!" The blonde jumped in excitement, pulling me in for a hug.

"We made it billie. We really made it."

She pulled away, giving one last smile before opening the car door. I got out shortly after. The blonde and I took a look up at the apartment building.

"Here's to the start of a new life." The blonde squeezed my hand.

I leaned in, giving her a kiss. "To the start of a new life."
