Loonatics: Rev x Tech

Amnesia part 1: 30 floors

Rev was really worried. Technically, the whole team was worried, but Rev was was especially so.

You see, Tech, Rev's very best can't live without him friend, and secret crush, had been hurt in a battle.

He had been hit REALLY hard on the head. And he hadn't woken up for hours.

Rev had been pacing in front of the door to the hospital room since. Tech was lying in there, unconscious and alone.

The others were away at another battle, but they had decided it wasn't too serious so Rev could stay behind.

Rev froze when he heard someone calling his name.

"Rev!" It was Rev's dad. What was he doing here? He had no love of Tech, or Coyotes in general.

"Dad? What are you doing here?" Rev asked.

"Well I heard you've been hear watching your...Friend...for hours, and I'm here to give you a break." Ralph said.

Actually, his Dad was the last person he wanted watching over Tech. Not that he would...harm Tech, but Rev, and the whole team, would rather have Tech wake up to a happy face.

But, Rev's dad convinced him. Rev really had to use the bathroom. What were the chances Tech would wake up when he was gone.

Well for one, Rev was gone for much longer than he thought he'd be. You see, after the bathroom he had slipped and fallen into an elevator...that was going to all the floors in the 30 story hospital. And Tech was on level 1. And at every floor someone got off AND on.

So after going up 30 floors and down 30 floors (the stairs were closed), Rev finally made it back to Tech.

Only to find the team already there. And Tech awake.

"TECH!" The Roadrunner screeched as he ran to hug his best friend.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" The Coyote screamed as he jumped off the bed.

"Huh? Tech, wha-what's wrong." Rev asked, hurt.

"Um, well you see son..." His dad, who had been behind the team said.

"Dad, what did you do?" Rev asked.

"Well, see the Coyote woke up before you or your team got back...so I walked in and well...he seemed confused and asked who I was, who was he, what was I, what was he?"

Amnesia! Rev thought Oh nononononononono

"Soooo, I told him about the history about Coyotes and Roadrunner..." His dad continued.

"Oh dad, please DO NOT tell me you taught him to EAT Roadrunners!" Rev cried in panic.

"Oh my gosh." Lexi whispered.

"No! I'm not crazy. But...I sorta embellished the story and made us roadrunners seem more...fierce and all...and explosions and now he is sorta...well...completly..."

"Roadrunners!" Tech screamed as he ran behind Slam. "Protect me, they'll blow me up into millions of tiny Coyote bits."

"Coyote bits?" The whole team asked, giving Ralph the stink eye.

"Hehe." Rev's dad said. "Embellishment."

Actually, when you think about, that is what used to happen to the Coyotes, but now...

"So let me get this straight." Ace said. "You have given an amnesiac Tech a fear of Roadrunners? Correct?"

"Y-yes." Ralph said.

Rev's beak was wide open in shock, but no words came out.

"Excuse me." Rev finally said as he zoomed out of the room.

He ran to the outside of the hospital, as he couldn't use the stairs to get to the top and wasn't risking the slow elevator.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" Rev screamed.

Then, he slowly walked back into the hospital

Tech, his best friend forever that he could NEVER live with out, and had a secret crush on, was terrified of him.
