Amnesia part 2: Therapy

Tech eventually got his memories back...except for ones about Rev.

The doctor said Tech's shock and fear of...umm...Roadrunners was causing his mind to block out the memories of Rev.

Once Tech gets over his fear, he might begin to remember Rev.

It had been 2 weeks and Tech still didn't remember.

Rev walked into Tech's lab with Duck. And Tech jumped up so high he reached the ceiling.

"AHHHHH...s-s-sorry Rev, I'm still getting used to the idea of...Roadrunners not blowing me up." Tech said.

"This is just sad." Duck said.

Other than the fear of Roadrunners, Tech was back to normal.

But Rev wasn't. He was glum and---AHHHH---he walked everywhere unless he needed to fight during a battle.

"Huh, it's fine Tech." Rev sighed.

"Okay, I'm in charge of today's Roadrunner therapy Tech." Duck said. "And instead of the baby steps the others have been putting you through, I'm just gonna hit you hard."

Duck walked out the door and locked Tech and Rev together in the lab. Alone.

"AHHHH!" Tech screamed. "Sorry."

"It's okay." Rev said, forcing a smile. "So, let's work on contact today. How about a hug?" Rev said hopefully.

"Isn't that sorta big?" Tech gulped. "I mean, last time, I couldn't even look you in the eye."

But then Tech saw how sad that made Rev. The Roadrunner looked deflated. His face looked so...sad. Adorably so, actually.

Even with his fear, Tech couldn't say no to that face.

"Okay, hug me." Tech said, shaking.

Rev happily sped to embrace Tech. To his, and the Coyote's surprise, Tech moved closer to him.

"You're soft." Tech said. "And warm."

Rev froze. "So are you." He finally said.

"Did you...did you ever push me off a cliff?" Tech suddenly asked.

Rev broke their embrace.

"What?"

"No, you let me fall so you could save a robot toy." Tech corrected himself.

"Yes! Yes! Ahhhh! You remember!" Rev said as he jumped up and down. "You're starting to remember me!"

At that moment Duck walked back in.

"So, how's it..."

"Tech's starting to remember me!" Rev screamed in his face.

"Really! Ha, I knew my way would work." Duck said.

Maybe everything would be alright after all.

Rev would immediately come to regret those words.
