Falling

I wasn't surprised it happened again. I mean, last time we were here, I fell off the cliff while Rev grabbed roboamigo.

So, on a team trip visiting his family, I wasn't exactly surprised when I found myself falling down another cliff, once again due to Rev.

The Roadrunner hadn't meant to bump into me and send me falling. I didn't hold it against him.

I should have brought my rocket boots. I was packing them and then Rev wanted me to help him with something...and I couldn't refuse him.

Oh well, I'll just regenerate anyway.

Still, I wish Rev would...you know...be more careful. I am his best friend and it still hurts to be burned...and electrocuted...and to fall from a cliff.

And yeah, his talking can be VERY annoying. And when he steals my inventions.

Man, this cliff is tall. I haven't hit the bottom yet.

Anyway, I love Rev. A lot. But...that's not the point.

I wish he'd be more careful is all and...man how tall is this cliff.

"The least he could do is catch me!" I shout aloud.

Just as I was about to hit the ground, I felt soft warm wings catch me. I looked up to see myself in Rev's arms and him with a triumph smile.

"You really think I was that bad of a best friend to let you fall down a cliff?" Rev asked.

"Well, you once saved a toy instead of me." I said.

"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry for that?" Rev said.

"Oh, I don't know, how about..." I began. Maybe some help on my inventions or...

"A million hyper-speed kisses!" Rev said as he sealed the deal.

After he mobbed me with kisses...

"So, you wanna go on a date after this." Rev asked.

"If it ends like this, sure." I said.

"Oh, it will."

Maybe falling down a cliff isn't so bad it he's here to catch me. And kiss me.
