Amnesia part 5: Remembering

"Rev?" His dad asked.

Rev turned to look at his cowering parents.

"Oh, daddy dearest, am I scaring you?" Rev growled. "Like how you scared my best friend?"

Rev grabbed his dad by the neck of his shirt and started shaking him as super speed.

"Am I scaring you?"

"Rev stop, that's your Pa." Ace said.

"Why? He is a huge grade-A jerk!" Rev said.

"While that is true," Rip said gently to his older brother. "I know you wouldn't hurt him Rev. I see that a parasite like the one I got is on you. We can help you."

"Oh please, our own father overlooked you for years cause you were different. You should hate him just as much as I do!" Rev said.

"Rev, baby..." His mother began.

"Oh don't even try it Mom. You wanted to put Tech on a leash the first time you met him." Rev said.

"But lucky for you, this is between me and him." With that, Rev zoomed out of the building with his Dad.

"Rev! Dad!" Rip cried

"Honeies!" Harriet cried.

A few minutes later, the team was on the streets looking for Rev. They had left Harriet and Rip behind.

Tech had come to look for Rev with the other Loonatics. He had created a device that should get the parasite off of Rev.

The team split up.

Tech looked around an alley.

Why did I go alone Tech thought I have a high fear of Roadrunners and here I am trying to find an angry Rev.

It's cause you care about him. Another voice said in his head.

Tech turned a corner and saw Rev still holding his dad by the neck.

"Rev...my boy...listen." Ralph tried to say.

"He is my best friend and you...you made him terrified of me!" Rev screamed at his dad. "My best friend can't stand being in the same room as me. I LOVE HIM!"

"But...he's...he's...you don't mean..." Ralph stuttered.

"I love him so much." Rev said.

Tech stared in shock. And then...and then something in his mind clicked.

Rev...my best friend...I love him too...

"Tech!" Rev had noticed the Coyote and had thrown his dad against a wall, knocking him unconscious, and ran to Tech.

Seeing the device in Tech's hands, the device which would free him of the parasite, Rev grabbed it out of the Coyote's hands and destroyed it.

Great Tech thought. Now how am I gonna fix him. Suddenly, a completely idiot idea struck Tech Don't you dare Tech told himself that is completely illogical, don't you dare...

Before Rev could say anything, and that was saying something, and before Tech could help himself, Tech rammed his lips into Rev's and they both fell to the ground.

The parasite popped off. Rev's deepest desire...was to have Tech.

"Umm..." Tech said as he broke the kiss and saw he had landed un top of the Roadrunner. "Sorry Rev I..."

"You remember?" Rev asked.

"Umm...yeah...heat of the moment sorta thing--" Tech's mouth was covered by Rev's beak.

"So, ummm..." Rev said as they broke the kiss. "Boyfriends right?"

"Yep." Tech said with a smile.
