Loonatics: Rev x Tech

The Roadrunner is a shipper

The point of the matter is, it was all Rev's fault.

On the team's trip to Dr. Fidel Chroniker's lab to check up on how the doc was doing neutralizing hus grandson's power, and Roadrunner had broken the "no touch" rule.

Examining one of the doctor's inventions, Rev had accidently activated it.

The invention: A Person-transporting time machine, which brought specific people from the past into the present.

And who gets brought to the present? A roadrunner. But not just any Roadrunner, the roadrunner.

Rev's ancestor of tricking Coyote fame.

The bird, of a different more primitive build then Rev, had stood still for all of 2 seconds before rushing around the lab and quickly destroying everything. Even with his superspeed, Rev couldn't stop him.

So while the time doctor worked on a way to send the time displaced roadrunner back, the loonatics took him back to base.

At first, he stayed with Rev, the only one who could understand him. But as he grew more comfortable, the Road Runner started speeding in and around the whole base, meep meeping as he went.

Duck swore he would go insane and begged Tech to make shackles and a gag for the bird.

Which of course he refused.

Tech tried to stay in his lab, not wanting to scare the poor thing more than it might have already been.

Apparently, scared it was not, as he appeared inches away from Tech as he sat working on an invention.

Tech gasped. "Don't do that!" He held his heart.

Then he realized who he was talking to.

"Oh, um...do not be afraid. I will not hurt you."

The Roadrunner simply stared at him. Then pat his head with one wing, as if saying of course you can't.

Rev sped in at that moment.

"Tech-I-lost-THERE-you-are-you-gave-me-a-heart-attack-oh-man-Tech-I'm-sorry-an-hey-he's-not-afraid-of-you!"

"Yeah, well, I guess he's a smart Roadrunner. You did have to get it from somewhere." Tech said as he turned back to his work...missing how Rev melted at the compliment.

The Roadrunner stared at his descendent and slowly, an evil little grin crossed his face.

"Say Rev," Tech flipped back to them. "Does he have a name?"

"Oh-of-course-I-mean-he-has-to-and..." Rev turned to his ancestor. "Do-you-have-a-name?"

The Roadunner blinked...than zipped around the room. Finding a rope, it zoomed back, lassoing the Coyote and his descendant.

The two were stuck standing, facing each other, noses nearly touching

For a moment, the 2 loonatics just stared at each other, then looked away blushing.

"Hey, let us out!"
"Hey-yeah-get-back-here-don't-you-dare...!"

With a "beep beep", the Roadrunner ran out the the lab, planning on annoying the duck.

But first he ran back and gave a little wave, as if saying, You kids have fun now.

Then he zoomed away.
