No sooner had Tech started getting his memory of Rev back, and over his fear of Roadrunners, had Rev's family come visiting.
Rev wasn't really worried about Rip, who was perfectly fine with Coyotes.
It was his parents he was worried about. He was worried what they would do to Tech!
"Now remember, he's in recovery, so NO mention of the past." Rev said as his family speedied to the base.
He had never been gruff with his parents. Ever. But he was still mad with his dad for giving Tech his fear of Roadrunners.
"We got this son." His dad said.
"We'll be perfect." His Mom said.
"How is Tech doing?" Rip asked.
"Good, he has gotten back a few more memories of me and is way less scared of me...but I don't know how he will act around other Roadrunners." Rev explained.
Tech, meanwhile, was trying to find a place to hide.
"Tech, it will help you get over your fear, and get your memories back, if you see Rev's family. Or at least Rip." Lexi said.
"O-okay." Tech said as he stood in the doorway.
A few hours later, everything was going well. Besides a few stray screams, Tech was doing fine.
Rev and Rip walked out for a moment. A few moments later, Lexi Ace and Slam did too.
Leaving Duck, Tech, and Rev's parents.
That was their mistake. Moments later, screaming erupted from the room.
"Stop it, zip heads!" They heard Duck shout. "If you weren't Rev's parents you wouldn't even of been here."
As the others ran in, they found Duck shouting at Rev's angry looking parents and Tech hiding behind a shelf.
Rev ran over to him.
"Hey what's wrong I thought everything was going good I thought--"
"AHHHH!" Tech screeched as he ran behind Slam.
"You-you're scared of me again?" Rev asked, heartbroken.
"What happened here?" Ace asked.
"These jerks here," Duck said pointing to Rev's parents. "Scared Tech all cause he started praising Rev."
"That wasn't it!" Ralph screeched. "That Coyote said you two hugged--hugged! The mere thought of a Coyote with one of my boys in its hands."
"We were ashamed that our son had been defiled in such a way." Harriet, Rev's Mom, said.
"Defiled? It was a hug!" Lexi fired back.
"Nglam loko hjik." (No like you." Slam growled.
Meanwhile, Rev was still trying to calm down Tech.
"Calm on Tech, it's me." Rev said.
"No. Get back!" Tech said.
Rev face fell. They had been making progress! Tech had started to remember! And now...and now...
"AHHHHHHHHHH!" Rev screamed in anger.
Everyone froze and looked at him in shock.
"Rev, are you okay?" His dad asked.
"Am I okay?" Rev repeated. "Do I seem okay, dad? My best friend ever is terrified of me cause you had to open your stupid beak!"
Everyone's jaw fell open. Rev had never talked to his parents like that.
"And he was just starting to get his memories back!" Rev continued shouting. "And then you had to come and mess it all up!"
Rev zoomed out of the building.
"Well," Duck said. "Even their own son agrees their despicable."
