Loonatics: Rev x Tech

Black Velvet

Of course, when the other loonatics had gone on vacation, Tech and Rev had stayed behind, but each for different reasons.

Well, they had to protect the city, of course, but each had their own personal reason.

Tech wanted to work on his inventions in peace.

This was stymied of course by Rev, who had stayed behind to have some alone time with his boyfriend.

"Techhhhh," Rev said as he stood behind Tech's chair and wrapped his arms around the Coyote.

"What Rev?" Tech sighed. He loved his boyfriend, but he could be a little annoying.

"I love radiating eletrons to a numerical exportion level as much as the next guy," Rev said. "But I wanted to spend some special time with you." He gave his boyfriend a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you too," Tech said. "But I really want to work on this."

"But I really NEED to spend special time with you." Rev begged.

"Fine." Tech sighed.

"Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!" Rev screamed as he grabbed Tech, put him on his back, and sped out of the base.

"I call this tour on de Rev at super high speeds." The Roadrunner said.

"Ahhh!" Tech, who had never been on the Roadrunner before, screamed. "Rev, slow your external and internal speeds!"

"But why honey-boo?" Rev cried as they speeded onto New Nebulan street.

Rev liked having the Coyote on his back. It was comforting to feel his boyfriend's warm fur and breath as he ran.

Eventually, Tech got used to Rev's speed and started to enjoy the ride.

"Whoohoo!" Tech cried. "Faster Rev, faster! Break the structural barrier between light and sound and heat through velocieties of up to 800.98999 knots!"

"I love when you talk super smart Tech, especially since I'm the only who can understand, not that it's good others can't understand it but it's like out secret language and we can just talk talk talk not that I don't talk talk talk but I can do it with you not that I don't talk with you but it's special..."

"I get it Rev." The Coyote said as he grabbed his boyfriend's beak.

"Woulda prefered a kiss!" Rev said.

"Alright then..." But before Rev could receive the promised kiss, both felt oddly drowsy.

"Something...in the air..." Tech said as he passed out.

Rev, still running, started to slow down.

"T-tired...nap." He stopped running and laid Tech gently on the ground. Rev laid beside him and wrapped his wings around his boyfriend's waist. "Night love you..." Rev said as he too passed out.

Unknown to them, a mysterious villain hid in the shadows and reached out for one of them...

Rev woke up with a start.

"Wow Tech I feel totally refreshed how about you...Tech." Rev saw the Coyote was no longer in his grip. He looked around. "Tech where are you we are not done yet come on. Tech?"

Rev got worried. Tech wouldn't leave him out here by himself.

"Tech!" He screeched. He was about to super speed all around the city to look for his boyfriend when he noticed some particles in the air.

Rev recognized them immediately.

"Black Velvet!" Rev gasped. "That villain who has to stay in total darkness and can mind control people and wants to turn all of the city dark!"

After Rev unknowingly reminded our reader who Black Velvet is, he started to plan.

"So she probably took Tech like last time and probably mind controlled him, just like last time. Oh man, just when we have time to ourselves. But where did she take him!?" Rev said.

"Well she would be somewhere really really really dark...oh I KNOW I KNOW!" Rev cried as he speeded away.

Meanwhile, in her new dark lair, Black Velvet was enjoying her victory. To get revenge on the loonatics, she had decided to first attack the two scientists when the team was away.

And she had a delightfully evil way to do it.

Suddenly, Rev zoomed into the room.

"Ah, I knew you would be here because it has anti-light devices and is located in a naturally dark area." The Roadrunner said. "Now where's Tech?"

"Your friend is..." Velvet was interrupted by Rev zooming past her.

"Tech! Techums! Tech where are you?" Rev cried. "Your special Roadrunner is here!"

"Ahem!" Velvet cried. "As I was saying, your darling little Coyote..."

Tech suddenly walked into the room, his eyes completely white, meaning he was under Velvet's mind control.

Velvet wrapped her arms around him.

"Is mine now." Black Velvet finished. "Kill him." She said into Tech's ears.

"Yes mistress."

"Hahaha, real funny lady." Rev said. "But I know Tech won't hurt me."

"Oh really," the mind-controlled Tech growled. "Cause I wouldn't mind eating you...after all, that's what our kinds do."

Rev ran right up to the mind-controlled Tech.

"I had those fears when we started dating. But you made me feel better. You, my beloved Tech, told me the only thing that mattered was how I felt. And I feel, I know, you won't hurt me. Because you love me."

Rev suddenly kissed Tech.

Almost immediately, Tech's eyes returned to normal.

"Do you know how fairy talely stupid that was?" Tech said as they broke the kiss.

"It worked didn't it." Rev giggled.

"What?" Black Velvet shouted.

"You forgot one thing Velvet: Tech loves me. And he is mine." Rev said. "But I guess that's two things but they are both true, especially about Tech being mine. MINE! You hear me you--"

Tech shut him up by kissing his boyfriend.

"There's your kiss, now can we please lock up Black Velvet?" Tech asked.

"Can we get back to our date after?" Rev asked.

"Sure thing Re--"

"Ehhhhhhhhhhh!" Rev said as he wrapped up the villain in 10 seconds flat. "Call the police, let's go, you and me."

Tech found himself back on Rev's back and speeding through the city.

"Have I ever told you I love you." Tech said with a smile.

"Only as many times as I've told you." Rev said. "Which is alot, almost every second of the day in fact, I wish I could say it more of course but--"

Tech shut him up again. In the way Rev prefers of course.
