At Citadel in Wakanda...
Everyone is in a room with a raised circular platform for time travel. All wearing Quantum/space suits and lined up with their helmets down. Janet is not in a suit and she is standing by the control station. Hank stands before the rest of them holding a tray of Pym Particles.
"Everyone gets 4. I expect you each to only use 2 but there's 2 more in case of emergency," Hank tells the group. He holds out the try and everyone takes 4 and attaches them to their suits. "Remember your only job is to get the stones as cleanly as possible; so avoid any unnecessary adventures," Hank continues sternly. "If you get in any trouble and need to come back, Janet will be here to attend to you." Everyone nods. "Alright, let's do this thing." Hank and the others all walk up onto the raised platform and stand in a circle.
"See you in a minute," Janet smiles. Her and Hank lock eyes for a second as she starts getting the time machine ready. Hank looks away. Everyone looks at one another one last time before all their lives change. And then they disappear. Everyone zooms through the Quantum realm.
The battle of New York 2012...
Sam, Fury, and Hill are standing together. Hank, Peter, Hope, and Scott in their own cluster next to them. Dr. Strange stands on his own next to the other two clusters.
"Alright. We'll see you soon. Good luck to everyone," Sam says in the direction of Hank, Peter, Hope, Scott and Dr. Strange.
"Same to you," Hope nods. Dr. Strange rises from the ground and flies away. The others watch him go before turning to each other once more.
Dr. Strange lands on the Roof of the Sanctum Sanctorum. The Ancient One stands completely still and silent and watches as Strange draws nearer.
"Stephen Strange. The great Dr. Stephen Strange. You are meant to be the best of us. What brings you back to this time?"
"The Stone," Dr. Strange answers.
Meanwhile on Morag...
"Take care of her," Quill tells Shuri, as he tentatively takes his hand off of the outside of the Benetar.
"Don't you worry about a thing," Shuri assures him. "Just get the stone and we'll see you in a bit." Shuri smiles and turns around, walking back to the ship where T'Challa is waiting. Quill turns away from the Benatar and over to stand with Drax, Mantis and Groot as they watch the Benatar take flight. As it's in the air the auxiliary pod detaches, a red glow about it, as Wanda uses her powers to propel it through space.
Quill leads the guardians over to hide behind the plants as they wait for 2014 Quill to show up.
Meanwhile at the Sanctum...
"As you very well know, the Infinity Stones create what you experience as the flow of time. Remove one stone and that flow splits. Now, this may benefit your reality, but my new one...not so much. In this new branched Reality, without our chief weapon against the forces of darkness, our world will be overrun. Millions will suffer. So, tell me, Dr. why should I give it to you?" The Ancient One questions.
"Once we are done with the stones, we can return each one to its own timeline at the moment it was taken. So, chronologically, in that reality, it never left," Dr. Strange replies calmly.
"And what if you don't survive?"
"You said yourself, I am meant to be the best of us. Trust me, I would not ask if it was not worth it, and if I didn't know we would win. If you only knew the powers Wanda has, she is more powerful than even she knows; and she is only one of many fighting alongside me." Dr. Strange grows silent after these words as The Ancient One lifts her hands up and removes the Time Stone from the necklace. She hands the Stone to Strange who takes it.
"Thank you," he tells her; and he presses down on the button of his quantum suit to return to the future.
