True_strength: Hi again! So, we decided to explain how ghosts work in our story... so that you wouldn't get too confused! We hope it helps. :)
Sanju_classic: Yup. I feel like we should go over the basic ghost rules in order to fully understand the story.
True_strength: By now, the reader probably sees us as the clown and the serious one, don'tcha think? :3
Sanju_classic: We shouldn't even be having these conversations in the middle of the story- it ruins the mood.
True_strength: (pouts) BUT THIS HORROR STORY HAS THE ORIGINALITY-

How Ghosts Work
-Ghosts can touch things they feel a strong, personal connection with. For example, Adaline was able to touch the violin and the bow because she had once played the instrument when she was alive.
-People can hear them if they are very very emotional. However, the sound is very very faint. For example, Adaline's sobs and her voice when she sang "Shatter Me."
-Ghosts cannot be seen. When a ghost touches someone their hand phases through the person and the person in question feels a very violent chill.
-Ghosts have a weak point (but where specifically? :3 We will soon find out!)
-Ghosts are manifested through the spirits of those who could not accept their death.
-With a LOT of energy ghosts can make themselves seen to someone they knew in their life. But, they can only do it for a minute or so and it takes a tremendous amount of will.
-Ghosts can "die" when [cause of death censored for plot]. When they "die" their soul doesn't simply fade away. They can enter the afterlife. And, in extremely rare cases, they can become an angel if they spend their dying moments nobly.
-Angels are ghosts who have decided to stay on Earth. They cannot become human, yet they can steer the human race to make good decisions or to avoid danger.
Ash's Quirk
-Ash's Quirk allows him to see ghosts
-He can touch ghosts and make them be able to touch other for a short while
-He can physically control ghosts and make them do his bidding.
-Ghosts can touch him if they believe that they can touch him, which is why Adaline wasn't able to grab his shirt beforehand.
