My name is Miya (MiyaHikari) and I'm a kat-loving bookworm who is overly fond of stabby stabby and angst. I'm quite friendly though and promise I don't bite! :D

This community account *waves hands* is of my making because I lacked impulse control and my braincell decided to be motivated to run an awards and do reviews instead of writing my own book. Master procrastination at its finest, people.

My High/Dark Fantasy-Romance, Whisper of Blade is a 2022 Wattys Shortlister and has been featured on over a dozen ambassador-run Wattpad reading list profiles as well as placing in several user-run awards.

That said, I'm a writer who is still learning too! Please don't take everything I say as gospel truth, always have that grain of salt handy for any reviews you receive.

Here's a list of what genres, target age audiences, and tropes I prefer! This list isn't a hard and fast rule, since I can be hooked by something that I don't prefer or not take to a book I normally think I'd like. One constant to my preferences is that I almost always prefer for romance to be subplot or barring that for the conflict to be external to the romantic relationship.
