a few guys + a girl = a lovely vampire story?
Chapter 8: Never, ever go shopping with a vampire
I was right. Oh, I'm such a stupid idiot! Why did I ever say yes to shopping with a vampire. Here's a warning for all of you guys:
WARNING: NEVER and I REPEAT NEVER!
NEVER EVER GO SHOPPING WITH A VAMPIRE!
Especially when that vampire is called Anny, has red hair and is cheerful as ever.
You want to know why? Well, I'll tell you why. I am now the owner of a complete new wardrobe...
no, not the write words...
I am now the owner of so many clothes that everybody in New York would have something to wear!
Okay well, maybe that's a little over the top but I think you'll finaly get what I mean.
The worst thing is... we aren't even done yet! Can you believe it? Sure I can't!.
My feet were dragging and actually I didn't even want all of this stuff.
But Hey, I tried to say it but there is no way you can stop a vampire when shopping. Even the guys seemed to enjoy it.
" Ugh" I said while sitting down on the nearest bench.
"Come on Hayley. We are not done yet. I still need to buy you something." Bryant said with a grin.
I looked at him. My eyes closed. My hand on my head to stop the headache I got from this shopping maddness.
"You've got to be kidding me." I said. I was so not in the mood anymore for any jokes. Though I knew the moment I saw Bryant's face... I knew that I had said something terribly wrong... " Oh, my god Bryant. Uhm, why don't you go and buy it and surprise me!" I said with all the enthousiasm I could.
Bryant smiled. "I'll be back in a minute!" He said while running off. Well and I kind of believed him. That left me and Anny and Chandler and Wade and Vance.
The guys were walking with tons and tons of bags and boxes and bags and many more bags.
Aldwyn was gone because he'd said, and I quote.... " needed to do something very important." .... Yeah, great for him. He got to sneek out.
This shopping thing with vampires... well, I can tell you... it is a total work out
"So, did you have fun?" Anny said while sitting down next to me. "You can say that." I mumbled. " Good!" She said cheerfully.
" Though you didn't have to buy all this for me." I said. Still with a little hope that maybe, maybe we could bring it all back.
" Of course I had to buy all this for you." Anny said. " Your my best friend" She added with a crussing hug.
" Anny!" I choked.
" Can't breath."
"Oh, sorry..." She said and let go.
It took me a while to get my breath back but it was okay as I was sitting.
"Though were should I leave all of ... this" I asked. "In the mansion of course. Your new home!" Anny answered.
"Wha...?" I hardly could bring out the words. What did she just say? My new house.........?
"Well, yeah. Of course. You guys haven't told her yet?" Anny asked the guys.
If I wasn't in a such a shock I would have laughed because the guys were carrying so manny bags (I was sure... If I didn't know they were vampires... I would worry that they would collaps because of the weight).
Well, ah... back to the subject. The answer the guys gave was more like a mumble underneath the pile of bags. though I could still hear it a little...." No..."
I looked at Anny. She looked a little down. " I'm so sorry." She said. " I shouldn't have brought up the subject." And then she almost cried.
I looked at her not understanding. What do you mean? I asked her and then I looked at the piles of bags.
"Well," Anny said with a lot of hesitation.
"I'm not sure if I'm the right person to tell you." Then she looked around as if in search for help.
ANd help came because a few seconds later Bryant came back with a really tiny bag....really didn't want to know what was in there... though my mind was buzzy with something else at the moment.
And as if he had known Aldwyn appeard next to Bryant only seconds later. Everybody looked as if I was going to die...
What the hell was going on?
"Well, you know Hayley." Aldwyn spoke. He slowly came closer. Then he touched my arm very gently as if I was made of porselin.
"You see, now you know we are vampires." He hesitated. " Well, you kind of have to live with us." .... at that moment my world stopped spinning.
Plates came crashing down. My mind went blank.
After what seemed like hours I spoke "WHAT!?" It was so loud that it felt as if the whole mall turned around. " SHH, Hayley. It's alright. It's all going to be fine."
" What about my parents. My sister. What would I tell them?" I asked in total panic.... I only thought about them... not myself.
"That's going to be fine. We'll think of something." Anny said.
I stood up. I wanted to run away.
Run away from all this maddness.
Run awy from all this....idiocracy.
Though as fast as I stood I fell down. Back to the ground. Blackness surrounded me. Just before that I could feel someone grab me. "Will she be alright?" Anny said in a worried high pitched voice.
"I think she will. She just fainted." Aldwyn replied
Then I went to a deep sleep.
Thank you for reading this.
May all your wishes come true.
