Chapter 4: You are asking me on a date?! part 2/2

Okay, here's part 2/2 of chapter 4! Have fun reading...

The road home was very quiet. None of us really said anything until we arrived at my home. Aldwyn pulled over and turned to me. "Please don't do it again. I really worried about you." He said. I looked at him not really understanding it. "You really had us worried." He said. Did he say us or I? I asked myself. I just nodded.

I wanted to get out of the car but Aldwyn grabbed my hand. "I mean it." He said. I looked at him and said "I believe you." I was in shock. Did I just say that? Me? Hayley, the weird girl?

Aldwyn let go of my hand and stepped out of the car. Then he helped me out but he didn't let go of me. "Will you..." he trailed off. I looked at him meaningfully. What was he going to say? "Will you join me and my brothers tomorrow at our house? Just to have fun?" he said. I felt myself become red like a tomato. Oh, this was so bad. Why did I have to blush so much?

It was silent for a long time. None of us said anything though I felt him look at me. I just stared to the ground. What should I say? Should I go there tomorrow?

Carefully I tried to look at Aldwyn. Of course, he was expecting an answer but what should I say? Tomorrow was Saturday. So no need to worry about school. Although I probably had to catch up some things because I was in the hospital for 3 days. Apparently. I bit my lip. "Or don't you want to..." Aldwyn tried to say but interrupted him. "No." I said a little loud. "Uhm. I'll come." I said with a smile. Aldwyn grinned widely and then he gave me a hug. A hug! Oh my.... Aldwyn gave me a hug! What was that for? For making me blush even more?

Aldwyn let go of me and said: "I'll come and pick you up tomorrow then. Is 10 o'clock fine?" "Sure." I said a little uneasy. "Take good care of yourself till tomorrow!" Aldwyn said while getting into his car. Then I waved as he drove away.

As soon as he was behind the hill and outside I crashed down onto the floor. My legs felt like pudding. What the hell just happened? Then Amber came out of the house all yelling and screaming. Though I only understood parts of what she said. I was still busy trying to put my thoughts in order. "Hayley... you're back... hospital... great....nice car... Aldwyn..." "Amber stop!" I said while standing up again. She looked a little sad. Maybe I said it too harsh. "Okay, I didn't mean that. I just think that I just got asked to go to the mansion tomorrow." I said but I could hardly finish. "Oh, my god! You're having a date!" Was that what it was? A date? I wondered while Amber dragged me inside babbling about choosing clothing for tomorrow etc. I sighed. This was going to be a long night.

Meanwhile back at the mansion in Aldwyn's POV:

"You did what!" Chandler screamed. "I've invited her for tomorrow." I said. Chandler cooled down. "Okay, maybe it isn't that bad. As long as she doesn't get to know. You know what can happen if she knows right?" He asked me but the question was also directed to Bryant, Vance and Wade. "Yes" I answered for everybody. "Okay, then it's alright. I think." Chandler said while walking away to his room. As long as she didn't find out about our secret everything would be alright. I sighed. Actually, I was a bit worried for tomorrow as well...
