Your POV

Our last part of the objective is to hunt down boars for meat. Rumor has it that they have been running around while blindly ramming into the victims without any reason. I thought that just defeating those can reduce the threat for good. However...

"..." Luria is staring at us because she is a lover of any creatures. "Boars, I do know those who run wild." She starts to reply. "However, there are some reasons that any boars must live for their life until their fate has decided."

"Ok, but why do some boars live while others die because of us?" Ena questions her. I start to feel off when they are talking about what topic. What is it?

Luria: Boars who run wild cannot control their emotions but fear that made them hostile towards us humans or hunters. Deaths can occur though, which may be tragic.

Ena: You mean...people like us?

Luria: That is most likely. Indeed that mammals and humans are different. They cannot be this often related. The fear does exist inside the memories of what action they commit.

Ena: True, but for us, we have to hunt them for survival. That's how we had no choice but to do personal business for our village.

Luria: That is unfortunate that peace between humans and mammals cannot be connected. You as a demi-human, Ena. It would be difficult to coexist between the two aligned nations.

Y/n: Uh...

Ena: How can that be unfortunate if there's nothing else we can eat to survive? You know that these boars can never be this friendly.

Luria: Sometimes indeed. However, the population of the boars cannot be completely extinct because of the fear of being killed.

Y/n: ...

Luria: Ena, Y/n, it would seem that you are from the villagers indeed and have the choice for this kind of survival.

Ena: Why did we have to get stuck with this?

Ena cuts the chatter while we start hunting down wild boars. Ena has her bow while firing arrows at the boars in a far distance. I went forward with a frontal slash against the frontline boars. Two boars are coming towards me in front of each side. I wanted to slash them horizontally with a wide range cut to both of them in one cut.

"Dragon Fang!" A shot of a slashed horizontal projectile with dragon flame blue elemental effect. I didn't manage to succeed with my skill. "Bavui, protect Y/n!" Luria commands her blue dragon to stay aside with me as she takes on many frontline boars.

Skipping Minor Battle...

I stand while watching Luria and Ena defeating most of the boars while scavaging meat. "This is going to be a lot of loads of it if we only have some backpack with a box for this meat. Though I do bring one, this is going to be a lot because Luria did all the hard work." Ena sighs. She sweats off while putting her bow away.

"Can I be your assistance of where to put these raw meat packages?" Luria asks us. She does have her dragon with us. What can she do with it?

Ena: Can that dragonfly though?

Luria: Yes. We did train to be professional adventurers for the higher ranks. Taming with the dragons can be a highly critical process with the relationship between humans and creatures. You must know it by now.

Ena: Like these boars? They are all common creatures to me.

Luria: It does indeed, but some are just children. They do not know the experience of what fear is against humans like us. Now that they know what we attempt, now they are afraid.
