Drishti's pov
So...we had a long long movie day...yes "day" because our little munchkin asked Rakshit to complete a dialogue from her favourite movie Frozen every time when the movie ended and when he was unable to answer... which was twice Riva played the movie again...so we watched this animated movie thrice... yup you read it right.
"My goodness don't you both have any work to do tomorrow" my mother in law entered and sweetly shouted.
Currently we all are sprawled on the sofa like dead people not caring about any manners.
"Mom... thank god you came please take Riva with you inside...I am fed of this stupid movie" Rakshit went towards mom and whispered..but I could hear.
She nodded in agreement.
"Riva...come on doll we need to sleep now... don't you want to go to school tomorrow" mom said in typical mom accent.
"But grand ma..I am not sleepy"
"Oh...how can you not feel sleepy..I nearly dozzed of twice watching this" Rakshit whined while Riva gasped.
"Mamu... you dozzed of...which time?...the second time or the third time?"
"Rakshit...just shut up if you don't want that torture again" I nudged him and glared him not wanting to face the torture again because of him.
He just rolled his eyes at me.
"Forget that Riva...and go to sleep. If you don't have proper sleep then you will look like a zombie in the morning and your friends wont allow you to sit beside them." I said in childlike voice.
"What is a zombie?" She enquired.
"Um... monster..the one in Chota bheem... like that yes" I answered.
"Ohhh...the one whom you did resemble when you were crying" she chirped and showed me her sly grin.
"You....come here" I tickled her and she laughed.
"Drishti dear you were crying" mom shouted and before I could say anything.
"Rakshit get out of my house" Mom ordered him.
"Mom... what did I do?" Rakshit whined and rubbed the back of his head frustrated with the situation.
"Do you mean that Riva or I myself made Drishti cry?" she grumbled.
"When did I say that?" Rakshit answered totally confused and frustrated.
"Then who the hell lives in this house except us...if we didn't made her cry that simply implies it was you" she shouted at him.
"Oh god mom...you and your assumptions. Listen to her first...wait you are laughing at me." Rakshit questioned shocked with me laughing.
"I just couldn't control seeing you fight... childishly"
"Excuse me... your husband is childish okay...I am a young beautiful lady" mom exaggerated.
"Of course" Rakshit said sarcasm dripping down from his voice while mom rolled her eyes at him.
"So dear why were you crying?" Mom asked and just like god saved me we heard a loud yawn and all eyes saw Riva yawning.
"Let's talk about this later mom" I replied.
She muttered fine and then Riva and mom went to mom's room as Riva wished to sleep near her today.
Finally time to sleep just as I was about to turn I felt two arms wrapped around my waist.
"So you love laughing at your husband Mrs Shergill...don't you?" my breath caught up as I felt his breath near my ears.
And then god! he started tickling me and I tried pushing him while laughing.
"Say you are sorry" he demanded still tickling me.
"Oh..g..god....f...fine..ss.. sorry" I said between my laughter.
As I said sorry he stopped and I inhaled deeply.
"Forgiving you this time wifey...but next time...I would like to pull up a prank if you laugh at me" my eyes widened as I got reminded the meaning of Prank he was highlighting when I drew joker on his face.
He laughed seeing my expressions and suddenly leaned forward and pressed his lips on my left cheek and whispered in my ears.
"Let's call it a night..I am tired"
and he simply started walking towards our bedroom...like..like he did nothing.I smiled to myself...and a sentence came out of my mouth all of a sudden.
"I love my family" I was stunned at first hearing my own words but then I realised it's not a lie..it's the fact...the truth.
This is exactly what I have wished for so long. A happy and Loyal family.
Sighing I went towards our room to shift into a deep slumber.
