I've been the happiest intern on earth for the past two weeks.

After Danielle and I made up and made out that Friday night, I've basically been living in Danielle's penthouse with her, only going back to my place for some change of clothes.

Well, but most of my clothes actually moved subtly into her place, as well, since you know, we're often doing in-bed exercise, and sometimes, we don't even bother to strip.

Well, I have no complaints.

We still keep a low profile at work, keeping it all 'boss and intern'. In fact, I have no objection to this decision because it gives us the privacy we need.

Danielle and I are still in our honeymoon phase, and I don't want anyone to come in and sabotage it.

However, it seems like wishful thinking now.

There's a new intern coming in today because Richard thinks the experimental internship is successful and Danielle and I have done an excellent job.

I don't know if I should feel happy or not because the new intern is also allocated to Danielle, which means, later on, there will be three people working in the office together.

This will certainly affect our occasional flirting in the office. And I'm worried that Danielle will be over-stressed about this.

'Hello, I'm Klaus McKenzie. Nice to meet you.'

After greeting Danielle (she gives him her signature bored look), the new intern comes over and settles next to me (yes, now we share a long desk), offering his hand.

'Nice to meet you. I'm Sage Carlos.' I give him a professional smile and shake his hand.

'Oh, so you're the one giving the tour, right?' He asks with a douchey smile.

'Right.' I almost forgot about this. I sigh internally. 'Follow me.'

I glance at Danielle quickly, she gives me a sympathetic smirk.

I show him around the building, where's who's office, where to buy lunch, and our intern working schedule.

He seems quite cheerful, asking me a ton of questions, work-related or not, but I just dodge anything personal as much as possible.

'How's work today?'

Danielle asks teasingly after an exhausting day of me listening to Klaus's rattle.

I quickly throw myself onto her soft velvet sofa, 'It's worse than working on the assistants' schedule.'

'Well, then you'd know how I felt when you first came.' She sits down next to me with two glasses of scotch.

'Please.' I shoot her an unbelieved glance, 'You enjoyed me talking and staring.'

She rolls her eyes amusedly, 'I had to since I can't close my ears or make myself invisible.'

'So mean.' I grin, burying my face against her neck, nibbling gently.

'Hmm, no, dinner time. I'm you-hungry also, but more food-hungry right now.' She pulls me off her, giving me a quick smooch and standing up.

'And drink up.' She swings the crystal whisky glass, 'You deserve it.'

'Thanks, babe.' I subconsciously answer, only realising what I say after seeing Danielle's weird facial expression.

'Oh, sorry, it's just a reflex...' I quickly explain, feeling my face burning a little.

No need for saying, her frozen face tells me that she's probably not ready for the pet name stage yet.
