The Thunderstorm poured down on the pavement,

The Smell of Freshly damp dirt was fragrant,

Spitfire stood Shivering on the road, starring, very Hurt down the street, His Two best friends just left, and Young Spitfire felt nothing was ever going to be the same.

Scott was on the other side of the street,

He lived about 5 miles from Spitfire but would mess around most of the time near Town since he lived aways off.

Spitfire caught, Scott's attention right away,

And Scott rushed across the street,

It's been a while since the two talked in person, only by sneaking phone calls nearly every night.

"Spit," Scott chuckled, walking over to him, it could be a funeral, and Scott would find something to laugh at " I heard about your friends,

I'm sorry bout that,

guess you are stuck with me," He snickered " I'll be your bestie."

Spitfire turned to him,

he smiles somewhat " Unfortunately, it's not that easy,

I'm glad you found me, though," He replies and coils his petite arms around Scott's waist,

The two hugged in the flooding rain for a few seconds.

Scott hugged him back tightly " I understand, Spitty" He scowls, " can I buy you a coffee? go somewhere dry to talk?" he shouts,

over the extreme rain

Spitfire turned loose and stepped back from Tall Scott, "I'd love that."

Scott beams, draping his arm over Spitfire's shoulder.

The rain pounded hard, Lighting Crashed, with the sound of the café door closing.

" Welcome, Can I get you two anything?" A young lady greets them with a smile.

"Yeah, actually, Two medium Coffees, please," Scott says,

and walks over to a Seat by the large glass windows,

Spitfire following, He shivered out of his wet jacket, laying it on the backside of his booth seat.

"You Cold?" Scott asked.

Spitfire nods, "Not really, just wet,

I can't believe this weather, to be honest,

Winter is right around the corner,

I suppose."

Scott dazed outside, "yep," He says, "Well, winter ain't bad, lots to do really!"

Spitfire frowns, "I don't do anything but get bossed around,

and hit if I do something wrong."

"By your dad, right?" Scott smirked, "That fool, I tell you, if I were you, Ol' Adam wouldn't be so lucky."

"I love my dad." Spitfire answers, "And he loves me,

it just so happens, he takes his anger out on me."

Scott shrugs, "I wouldn't put up with it."

Scott Looked at Spitfire,

and the two met eyes instantly,

both stopped talking and found themselves lost in each other's souls,

Scott slowly leaned closer to Spitfire,
