"Come... I'll put some tea on." Buddy smiles.

Spitfire followed and took a seat at the dinner table,

Buddy filled a teapot full of fresh water and placed a few peppermint tea bags inside.

"Wow... this place hasn't changed; it still smells the same... like home!" Spitfire smiles, taking a deep breath in.

"Ha... more like, small animal pee." Buddy laughs, " oh, the kids and their caged critters." he teased, glancing over to Spitfire.

"Yes... I suppose they do smell." He grabs his nose, "Good thing Scott had to go and lock his front door," Spitfire laughs, "Or he would probably get asthma quickly, the poor dear!"

"I forgot Scott has Asthma," Buddy states, a chuckle after... "Here." he smiles, taking the whistling teapot over to the table, Spitfire had a white delicate Teacup waiting in front of him, Buddy tilted the teapot at an angle until Tea Poured out and filled his cup.

"Thank you... Mhhh, smells good." Spitfire smiles, taking the first sip.

"So... I have a brother?" Spitfire asks, watching Buddys face change.

"Yeah... actually twin siblings, Topaz and Sapphire." Buddy adds, "But... let's not worry about that, ok?"

Spitfire nods, he was scared of what might be down this road called life, his feelings were like a hurricane, Spitfire has felt like this before, and dreaded these emotions, he tried everything to avoid it.

2 weeks later.......

"Morning," Buddy smiles, passing Spitfire while he sat in the sun window by the kitchen.

"Good morning, uncle." Spitfire answers.

It's already been two weeks since he's been home,

so far he and his father haven't had a one on one conversation yet, and Spitfire couldn't be more comfortable, this window felt familiar as it was- it was warm, the shine shining through it was soft and it heated his pale hands, glistening on his painted nails, he's met his two new siblings Sapphire and Topaz, unquestionably it was awkward but meeting two of his siblings felt oddly enough right!- he sipped his tea as he gazed out of the window dividing him and the cold outside.

"Are you ok?" Buddy asks, pouring coffee.

"I was just thinking." Spitfire answers.

"About?"

"Scott." Spitfire says back, "He says he'd be gone a while, but... it's hard waiting for him, he had to go see his mom or something back in Arlington, it's been two weeks Uncle, I'm impatient." he smirks.

"That's fine, my favorite nephew... don't worry about it, you need to stop worrying, be just like a river over stones," Buddy reassures him, as he reenacts the movement of a worry-less life with his hand- instead of a rapid chaotic one.

"Thank you, Uncle." He says as he watches Adam come down the stairs.

"Morning Bro." Buddy smiles, "I have the coffee going." He says, pointing to it... Adam travels over-pouring a cup,

Spitfire watched Adam closely but stays silent.

Adam nods as he takes a sip of the brewed coffee, "I see you are awake, Spitfire." He says, His Voice-it sent shivers down Spitfire's spine,

Spitfire hesitantly answers...

"I've been awake for a while now, "

Adam takes another sip replying- "Well..." he takes a seat at the table facing Spitfire, "How does it feel to fall asleep under an Old familiar roof?"

"Oddly enough, it feels good..." He says, lifting his hand to move the strands of hair from his eyes, his hands started shaking,

Adam noticed the observable trembling of Spitfire's hands but stays quiet- watching.

Spitfire puts his hand down, his hands have been trembling for years now, he was very used to it and forgot not everyone knew about the intake of Drugs... Adam continued to watch but was startled when his toast popped.

"Hungry?" Adam asks.

"No... I'm fine." Spitfire replied, his voice soft and a whisper.

Adam glanced down to the naked toast then to the decon mouse poisoning in the drawer... he could easily poison Spitfire easier than ever right now, and the thought flooded his views!
