CHARLES THOUGHT that it would be the last time he gets to see and talk to his ex-best friend, Angelo Gabrielle, but fate was actually playing with them. 'Cause three years later, Dominique found himself staring at his ex-best friend.

"Well, Dom, An, and Nar meet my half-brother, Dad's side, the one I'm talking about, Hermano Gabriel. But I call him either Hermano or Gabby, and did you know? He's the same age as you, Dom!" Wynter was cheerfully introducing her older brother to her friends. Not noticing the shocked look on Dominique. "And my brother here is bored, so he asked me if he could somehow work in our club. Ooh! Did I mention that he studied bartending in the States? He fits perfectly, don't you think?"

"Of course, Ate! Sa gwapo ba naman ng kuya mo, malamang sa malamang isa siya sa magiging dahilan kung bakit babalik nang babalik ang customers natin." Narae, being the seducer that she is, seductively wrapped her arms around Angelo's. "Are you, by chance, single and free tonight?"

Wynter laughed, "Be careful, Nar. Rumors say that my brother here is a monster in bed."

"Now will you accept this piteous yet sexy maiden's offer for tonight?" Anurak jokes.

Angelo placed his mouth near Narae's ear before whispering, "Wear your most seductive lingerie, honey." Angelo playfully bit her ear, and Dominique witnessed all of that.

"Damn! Of course, I will." Then Narae looked at Wyn. "Now you wouldn't mind me enjoying the night with your brother, right, Wyn?"

Wynter chuckled. "Why would I? Matanda na 'yan, and besides, you know what you're doing." That earned a giggle from Narae.

"If you don't mind me asking, what are you? Don't worry, no one in here is a judge." Anurak chuckled.

Angelo smiled. "Well, I know for a fact that you people don't judge. Naikwento na sa akin ni Emy noon." Sa 'di malamang dahilan, kinabahan si Charles nang tingnan siya ni Angelo. "Well, I'm bisexual."

"I'm a versa, can either be a top or a bottom." Narae clapped in glee, An whistled and Wynter laughed. "I'm anything you want me to be." Mas lalo silang nag-enjoy sa sagot ni Angelo habang malagkit na nakatingin kay Anurak.

"Uh no no. First come, first serve," sagot pa ni Narae na mas nagpatawa sa kanilang apat.

They were all enjoying the conversation except for Dominique na 'di nila napapansing madilim ang mukha. Tumabi naman sa kanya si Wynter kaya kahit papano ay gumaan ang pakiramdam niya.

"Hey... You okay?" Wynter whispered habang inaabutan siya nito ng beer. "Kanina ka pa tahimik. Don't tell me you're also interested sa kapatid ko." Natawa si Wyn.

"How is he your brother? He's ugly."

"Well, I'm flattered but I know for a fact that you like Latin blood." Wyn chuckled and stared at Dom. "That's why I thought there'll be something between us."

Dom looked at Wyn. "Wyn, not about this again. You know I don't—"

"You don't date friends. Yeah yeah. Why do I always let you reject me again and again?"

"Because I'm still your best friend." May pagmamalaki sa boses ni Dom.

"Facebook?" Both of them laughed. "Besides, you have your boyfriend, right?" Charles pointed out.

Wynter let out a small smile. "Mmm-hmm."

"Is he treating you nicely?"

Wynter's smile never left her lips. "Yeah. We're good... I think."

Charles knows that Wynter is hiding something. Others might not see it through her smiles but for him, it's very obvious. But because he respects her decision, he didn't open the topic again and started a new one.

"Can I start tonight? I just need something to pass my time and no, I don't need a salary." Tumingin muna si Angelo kay Charles bago nagpaalam sa iba. "Welp, I better get going. May aasikasuhin muna akong laro bago ako bumalik dito mamayang gabi."

"Okay okay... basta mamayang gabi ha?" Narae playfully reminded him.

"Of course, sexy. I wanna have a taste of you too." Angelo then looked at Anurak. "And you as well." He winked at him.

"A player just like his sister." Anurak tsked before laughing. "Oh well... At least alam natin kung bakit ganyan si Wynter."

"Hey hey! Mean people. I'm not as bad as my brother." And once again they laughed. "Shall I escort you out, Hermano?"

"Sí, por favor, hermanita. Adios, beautiful people." Halata namang kinilig si Narae sa sinabi ni Angelo at napangiti naman si Anurak.

"Bye, Kuya! Taste you later!" pahabol pang salita ni Narae.

Tuluyan nang lumabas sina Wynter at Angelo. Wynter was arguing with herself whether to open up the topic that bothers her mind so much or not. But in the end, she chose that option.

"Is there something between you and Dom? I mean... Kanina something is going on." Wynter finally broke the silence between them.

Angelo wasn't even surprised by his sister's question. Well, I expected that I wasn't obvious enough, but why the hell did I even belittle my sister's keen observation? "Well... Remember the dorm mate I used to tell you?" Wynter nodded at his question. Better say it now. Besides, it's not like something will change anyway. "That's him."

Wynter stopped walking. "Wha-What?"

"Hey, you look like a complete idi*t grinning to himself.."

"Do I? Hey, Wyn, I think I'm finally liking someone."

"For real? Or to have fun with?"

"Real. Very much real."

"Then what's stopping you?"

"He has a very complicated rule. No best friend love."

Kung tama ang naaalala ni Wyn, there was also a talk between her and Dom about a roommate he had when he was still in college.
