"How was your break asshat" Chase asked as I walked in. I roll my eyes and tie my apron around my waist. "Don't even! You weren't even busy since the whole cops busting in occasion" I state. He just laughs as he writes something down.
"It was crazy man. They said some lunatic was here. That lunatic was here for you. So technically, this is your fault lad. I forgive you though, you make us the most money anyways" Chase explains. So nobody found the body? Or the blood? Or anything at all? "It was quite the site" Justin chimed in. He used his nerdy voice again. What is with this guy? He talked so odd around others, but that night, his voice was, I'm not sure...smooth?
"Did they find him" I ask. Of course they didn't find him. He called me just the next day. That god damn lunatic. "Nope, the place was crystal clear! I guess it was a false alarm. Maybe this man is just a genius though" Chase created his own scenarios.
"I doubt it was a false alarm Chase. How genius could this man be? He's chasing after me of all people, he isn't that bright" I say with a cheeky smile. Chase rolls his eyes at my statement. "Whatever you say Chris" is all he said. I give him my award winning smile before walking over and wiping down a table.
Justin walks up to me with a suspicious look on his face. "I thought it was Christina" he mumbled. It is. I chuckle a bit before moving on to the next table. "Why can't I call you Chris? How close do I have to be? I hid a body for you" he stated in his calming voice. I hated his Justin voice, it just didn't fit him, but whatever voice this is, I like.
I sit on one of the chairs at the table I was cleaning and look up at him. He was so close to me now. He was pretty tall now that I'm at this angle. "You chose to do so. I had everything under control" I say looking down at the table. I heard movement and look up to see him sitting in the chair ahead of me. "I'm sure you did" he's quite intimidating.
I never really looked at him. I guess nerds aren't my type. He surely didn't look like a nerd. It was just his stupid voice he portrayed! If he talked in this voice earlier,  I would have actually asked him out. Now that he's hid a body for me things are a bit more..complicated. What? I'm not going to go out with a guy I know nothing about.
I bring my eyes back up to meet his. "What do you say Chris...friends?" Why is he smirking? Don't smirk at me! Why is he holding out his hand? To shake it, shake his hand! No! Don't shake it. For all you know he's a murder. You're a murder.
"Justin, we don't even know each other" I decline. He looked like he was going to explode. I'm not sure what he was feeling, but it was about to all come out any second. For once, I was happy my phone rang. "Excuse me" I say before getting up and walking out of the place.
"Christina, we need you to come back. We still have things to discuss" she didn't even let me speak. I want to choke her so bad. "I'm at work" I blankly reply. I heard papers moving in the background.
"I don't give a damn. Do you want to die Christina? We're trying to help you" she reminds me. I hang up. What is up with people calling and bossing me around? I get in my car. And why do I end up doing as they ask? Dumbass.

"His name is Nicholas Romano. He's 23 and a bit over 6 feet tall. Brown eyes, black hair, quite a bit of tattoos. From what we've gathered from the tales, he has an Italian accent, it's washed out a bit, but it's there. You can definitely tell he's Italian" she explains. How am I supposed to identify him with this information? "I haven't met anyone by that name. And I'm not sure I've even talked with someone like you've describe" I explain. How would I even notice? It's not like I knew what to look for. Now I do, so now I'll know.
"Just let us know Christina. Take these men with you. If they find him, you will know first" she says. Is she serious? I can't do anything with men breathing down my back. How am I supposed to kill with them watching me? "How am I supposed to work with them watching me" I ask.
She gives me a half assed frown. "Figure it out hustler. I really don't care. I'm doing my job and they're doing theirs. Let us take care of this situation and stop hiding from us" cagna (bitch).

"Where did you go" Justin questions. Um it's none of your business. "Excuse me" I ask. He throws his hands up in surrender. "I had to cover for your ass! Chase was grilling me" he points at me accusingly. I tie my apron around my waist.
"Thanks, again. Always being the hero. I had something to take care of. I don't even want to be here tonight" that was a good enough answer. "Since when did we get security? I don't remember hiring them" Chase chimes in, but quickly leaves to talk to them.
"It's a good thing they are here right? Somebody has to keep this place under control after what happened. I can't believe someone was here, looking for you. Are you scared of whoever it was" Justin asks. I just shrug. "Awe, was it you who called security. Is little Chrissy scared" he teases.
"As if" I roll my eyes at him. There was a moment of silence between us two. There was noise, but it was only people talking loudly and music blasting for the dancers. We were just staring at each other. I was trying to figure him out. There was something off about him. It was him.
"Hey, Nicholas mind if I ask you something" I ask. If he answers to this I swear I'll loose my shit. Before he answers he smirks. He knows I know. Holy shit. "I thought you weren't scared of me, Christina" he seemed, I don't know, upset? This is so fucked.
That's all he had to say to me. Once my name left his lips I was out. I turned around and darted for the door. You won't catch me slipping or tripping on anything. I am not about to to be abducted by this man.

I mean it could be worse.

It could be an ugly lunatic after me....
