In the next room, there stayed Aerith and Zack together. She sits down and checks up on him.
A: "How are you feeling?"
Z: "Im alright..", he looks down and then looks at Aerith who was just sitting on the bed.
Z: "....about Sephiroth..how much do you know about him?"
A: "..hm?..well...I know he was with me when me and my mom were held captive for experimentation. However, I always observed him from a distance. My mom told me that he was an ancient from the dark side, she said not to get close to him but...we were really the only kids there at the time."
Z: "...I see..I had no idea Sephiroth was raised there, I mean I knew I just thought it was a joke", he rubs the back of his neck.
A: "mm no its true", she shakes her head and her hands together in her chest, "Its just that...I think he was the one who suffered most.."
Z: "huh why do you say that?"
A: "...you don't know what they did to him to be who he is now.."
[Flash back]
A little braided girl in her room with her mother was grabbing a pencil and paper. She runs to her desk and started to draw a lot of things but Ifalna looks over at her drawings she realizes she drew someone she did not know.
I: "Whos this sweetie?"
A: "That's the kid who always passes by here"
She kneels down to her level
I: "Sweetie..why did you draw him yelling?"
A: "No he's crying..can't you hear him cry?"
The mother saddens her eyes
I: "Of course I can but...they do bad things to him for a reason"
A: "But why? He's a child like me"
I: "...I know but still"
Aerith gets up to hear them walking then she runs to the glass door, she sees the soldiers escorting him as the little kid with the silver hair was looking down wearing a normal gaze. Her mother grabs her and pulls her away from there.
A: "Mom somethings wrong, he's sad-"
I: "I don't want you to come close to him you understand?"
A: "But why? We are good people aren't we?"
A: "It wasn't like my mother to not help people. She was always nice and kind to others, and I get that from her. For me at the time I would always hear them do horrible things to him, but I couldn't stand it because though they never touched me. I know he was being trained to be the best, however he was already good to begin with. They wanted someone stronger, so they always run tests on him"
The little girl sneaks out of her room to see the silver haired kid. When she did, his room was hollow, there was no bed, no sink, no nothing. She saw a little boy sitting down in the dark room covered in bandages. She knocks on the glass and the silver haired kid looks up to see a little girl wearing a yellow dress. He ignores her but she kept knocking and that was the first she ever heard him speak.
S: "Go away!..I have training in the morning.."
A: "...what do you do in the morning?"
S: "....train.."
A: "Do you have any friends?"
S: "...no"
A: "Me neither..hey...what are you exactly?"
S: "...an experiment..a human"
A: "What are you training for?"
S: "...to be the strongest soldier"
A: "...really?..isn't that impossible?"
S: "...No..why are you here?"
A: "Im also an experiment..", she looks down
S: "....I see..whos that woman with you?"
A: "...I have to get back now..before I get caught", she runs back to her room and smiles at her mom as she was escorted back to her room. She runs to her and hugs her.
A: "After that, I never realized that he would be moved to a different section of the building, so I wasn't able to comfort him or talk to him. I knew that I wanted to help him...but I didn't know how. Eventually time passed by and I never really saw him again anymore. Until..."
Zack looks at Aerith who was looking down and he moves close trying to comfort her.
Z: "Its okay..I understand..You want to help him but do you think he is worth saving?"
A: "...I don't know..", she says in a sad manner but the crow haired looks at her and sighs.
Z: "When I was in SOLDIER and I met Sephiroth..he rubbed me the wrong way, of course I always tried to cheer him up or lighten the mood but I never imagined thats the reason why he was so mellow. I'll help you..I mean if you want to save him. I'll definitely help..because making him an enemy isn't gonna go easy to defeating him. I wouldn't want the Sephiroth I knew to be a memory, not like Angeal."
A: "hm..I just know that....I can be his family from what Tifa tells me about her timeline. I think we would need to address the issue without using violence to suppress the situation at hand."
Z: "uh..maybe..Sephiroths changed Aerith..he's different now. His insane, loco (he whistles gesturing his finger on his head)"
A: "hehe...maybe..but he's still sane. What if he really doesn't want to destroy the world?"
Z: "...what now?", he raises his eyebrows
A: "Tifa told me that on the way here.."
Z: "I see...If Sephiroth wants to be saved..he will be..well I mean by his own anger or rage whatever he has going on."
A: "I want to help him...I want him to be better, to be the kid that I knew he was"
Meanwhile at the mountain
A leathered man with a sword comes across a giant serpent and kills it instantly as he was having flashbacks from when he was a child.
"Alright! Is that Sephiroth?"
"The hero!"
"Now hold still son, I just need to adjust your power hehehehe", he sees a needle going into his eye ball.
The silver haired grabs onto his face as he was beginning to groan.
"More more MORE! Hehehe", a laughing scientist.
Sephiroth stands up and continues to walk as if nothing happened.
S: "Humans...how disgusting"
There lurked someone watching from behind the trees, he leaves behind the impaled serpent and the man in red hair smirks.
