TIFAS POV
I took my clothes and waved at him as I entered my house empty as usual. As I was folding ny dads clothes I realized I stopped for a second replaying that image in my head when Cloud hugged me, he felt so warm then someone came through the door which made me jump.
T: "Dad? Why are you here at this time?"
D: "Oh hi honey" he looks at the clothes in the basket, "you did laundry?"
T: "Sure did! Im putting your clothes away now"
D: "aww thats okay honey you just do your own thing, I'll take it from here"
I nodded and left the room to look outside the window to see my new blonde friend, I was sitting down on the chair as my elbow was on the table and my hand under my face. I couldn't stop thinking to myself but my dad he startled me.
D: "Oh looks like my baby girl has a bit of a crush"
I turned around and gasped, "Dad no thats not true"
D: "well it better not be because that boy is the reason why you were in a coma for a week"
T: "What?! No! He didn't make me do that, I went there to see mom"
My dads eyes widened then he sat down taking off his hat.
D: "I see now...honey come'er"
I walked towards my dad as he grabbed my shoulders and lifted my chin up, "Oh my baby girl, I miss mom too and Im sorry I wasn't home often than now. I promised ill be here more often so me and you can work past this. Alright?" He said touching my chin with a smile.
T: "Okay daddy"
D: "as for the boy"
T: "You apologize mister" I said lifting my finger up motherly and my dad smiled.
D: "Darn right I am"
My dad started folding his clothes and I raised my hands to my hips and lifted my eyebrows.
D: "what..you mean..right now?"
T: "Now" I said crossing my arms, "Pleassee dad I really like him and he doesn't have any friends!"
D: "Okay okay kitten"
My dad walks out the door and I peeped through the window smiling as my dad knocks and Claudia opens the door, they were talking and then Cloud came out of the door as my dad kneed down to his level then tipped his hat. I smiled to myself then I saw my dad point at me and Cloud looked over, I immediately startled then I waved through the window. It was already getting dark and dad came back inside, "Alright hon its been taken care of, now Im gonna be heading back to the reactor to take some notes. I'll be back soon I promise"
T: "Take all the time in the world dad" I said smiling as he walked out. I quickly went to the kitchen and ate dinner then I got dressed, I went outside to find Cloud sitting down already.
T: "hiya!"
The blonde turned and looked at me
C: "I didn't think you'd actually come"
I sat down next to him
T: "Of course I would, Im just so happy to be here cuz look at the stars its so beautiful"
We both stared at it
C: "Ya..I have something to tell you"
T: "hm? Shoot"
C: "well..Im actually signing up to join SOLDIER..but it might take awhile for me to join"
I quickly looked at him upset then he looked over and I immediately changed my face.
T: "oh figures everyones joining"
C: "Im not joining for money...I want to be like Sephiroth a hero"
T: "A hero huh"
C: "Yep"
T: "make it into the papers for me?"
C: "I'll try"
T: "When are you leaving?"
C: "A few weeks"
T: "Oh..alright then! Lets hang out together from here on out everyday, what do you say?" I said smiling at him as he gasped under his breathe
C: "uh..are you sure thats a good idea?"
T: "yaa why wouldn't it be?"
Cloud looked down at his hands
C: "Well cuz im a loser remember?"
T: "no your not, I think your...(I lifted my hand on my chin) sweet" I smiled at him and he blushed
C: "I..I don't think thats the right word" he said chuckling nervously
T: "Well you help your mom and you hugged me today when I was sad" I gave him soft eyes and we stared at each other for a bit then we both looked away quickly blushing.
C: "...I promise I won't leave you early"
T: "hm? Your not gonna die Cloud"
C: "how do you know?"
T: "heh because its you and now you have to promise me something" I said leaning close smiling, "Promise me you will come and save me whenever Im in trouble"
C: "uh why?"
T: "you want to be a hero right? Heroes save people and I promise I'll help you with it since you promise to stay alive for me, alright?" I smiled again
C: "alright, I promise" he said looking at me, "so tomorrow, what do you wanna do?"
T: "hmm How about you show me your room"
C: "my room why?"
T: "We're friends now, I'll let you come over and we can follow my dad up the reactor what do you say?"
C: "Your sneaky aren't you?"
T: "ahuh thats just how I am"
C: "Here" he wrapped a blanket over me
T: "Why did you bring one?"
C: "Well it is cold outside and I figured you would be...plus we're friends now"
I hid my blush using the blanket then a shooting star passed
T: "Oh! Make a wish!" I closed my eyes for a while then I opened them, "what did you wish for?"
C: "I cant tell you or it won't come true dummy"
T: "hah okay fine then I wont tell you either" I said moving my head away from him and he blushed regretting it.
C: "...alright how about you guess"
T: "oooh I like this game" We turned out bodies facing each other, "umm is it to be in SOLDIER?"
C: "nope" he smiled
T: "okay..is it..umm your dad?"
He smiled but didn't say anything
T: "Im sorry was that-"
C: "Nope"
T: "how is it wrong?" I pouted
C: "Okay my turn, is it to see your mom?"
T: "Ya..I really miss her, that one was an obvious one"
C: "heeh" he gave me a big smile
T: "So what is yours?"
C: "I can't tell you its a secret" he gave me a big smile and stood up
T: "but-" my eyes widened as he kissed my cheek then left, "uh your blanket!" I saw him from above as he ran to his house waving.
C: "Its okay! You can keep it!" I smiled to myself as I snuggled into the blanket and I couldn't but touch my chest the was it was beating was so unique to me. I told myself I would never forget the way I felt that night because he was my first.
