Been Here The Whole Time

Warning: cheating.

"Go to hell, Kacey. You piece of shit". You scream, throwing gravel at his truck. He backed up and headed out of the driveway of his fathers house.

"Hey hey. What the hell's going on"? Rip came running up from his horse.

"Kacey. He cheated". You looked away from Rip, not wanting him to see you cry over Kacey.

"Shit. I'm sorry. I did warn you". Rip clicked his tongue when he said that.

"I know. I'm a fucking idiot". You quickly wiped your tears away and turned to him. Your eyes blood shot.

"You know throwing gravel wouldn't do anything. You need to take a sledgehammer to his fucking windshield". Rip chuckled. Making you laugh. He always knew what to do when you were down.

"You going to help me? I don't think I have the strength".

"Come on girl. Let's go get that sledgehammer". He laughed, wrapping his arm around your shoulder.

"You wanna tell me what happened"?

"I went by his house and I saw a car I didnt recognize and when I went inside he was fucking her on the couch. Long story short I slashed her tires but he got me before I could do anything to his".

"Why did he bring you here"? Rip asked going into the took box on the back of his truck.

"See if you can calm me down. But I see that you're just fueling my rage". You giggled as he found the sledgehammer and handed it to you.

Rip chuckled. "I dont like cheaters, especially when they do it to you. He hurt you and he should pay".

"We really going to do this"? You looked up at him from the sledgehammer in your hands.

"I'm in if you are"?

You gripped the sledgehammer. "Let's do it". You jumped into Rips truck and he followed.

"We're going to get into so much trouble with John". You were rethinking it.

"Nah, he'll understand. His sons an asshole". Rip smiled, his tooth pick sticking out of his mouth.

Pulling up to Kaceys place you saw his truck was there and it was so shiny and pretty. "Let's fuck his truck up". You got of the car and smashed his taillight out.

"Holy shit that felt awesome". You squealed.

"What the hell Y/N"? Kacey came rushing out but Rip stopped him.

"Let it happen". Rip warned Kacey as you smashed his other taillight out.

"Fuck that". Kacey tried to get past Rip. Rip wasnt having it. He grabbed Kacey by the collar of his shirt and pushed Kacey square in the nose.

"I told you to let it happen. I warned you to stay away from her but you didnt listen and you broke her heart. This is what you get". Rip spat. Kacey on the ground holding his nose.

When Rip turned around you had smashed in all the lights, his windows and slashed his tires. "Damn, girl". Rip chuckled with pride.

"You ready"? You asked popping your hip out and throwing the sledgehammer over your shoulder.

He nodded and tipped his hat to Kacey before getting into his truck.

"I hope she was worth it". The last thing you said as you closed the door to Rips truck.

"Oh my god.  That's felt amazing. I could kiss you right now". The excitement and adrenaline coursed through your veins.

Rip looked at you twice and pulled over to the side of the road. "Felt good, didnt it"?

"It did. Really good". You panted and licked your lips while staring at Rips lips.

He grabbed the back of your head and smashed your lips to his. Your hands went to his face and deepened the kiss. He pulled you over to straddle his lap in his seat. Your butt hit the horn and it went off. Making you giggle and Rip laughed against each others lips.

"You dont need him at all". Rip cleared his throat.

"Yeah, because I got you. Rip Wheeler. Why havent you told me"? You asked, running your thumb over his lips.

"You needed to experience the world before I settled you down". He said with a smirk.

"Oh really? You going to tame me,  Rip"? You wrapped your arms around his neck.

"No, I'm just going put a ring on your finger and we're going to fuck up shit together". He laughed, pressing another kiss to your lips.

You deepened the kiss and moaned into it. Rip wrapped his arms around your waist.

"We're going to be such an amazing couple". You mumbled against his lips.

"As friends we kicked ass. As a couple people better watch out cause we take no prisoners". He laughed against your skin. 

"I love you". You pushed his hat back, looking into his eyes.

"I like you more than anyone".

"I'll take that". You kissed him again with a giggle.

"Better get home. Got some making up to do". He removed you from his lap.

"You know I've been here the whole time. You could've made a move".

"Don't worry.  I'll show you my moves". You both laughed Rip laid his hand on your thigh. His other hand drove the steering wheel. You bit your lip and played with the ring on his finger. This was right. Not with Kacey.
