"You don't like it"?

Turning around you saw Rip standing by the door way, his hat in hand, chewing on the inside of his cheek.

"I love it". You smiled, looking down at your hand. The ring on your ring finger let out a sparkle.

"I know it's small but...I'm going to get you a bigger one once we're hitched".

"No". You shook your head with a sniffle.

"No, what"? He walked forward.

"No, I dont want a bigger one. This one is perfect. I love it. I love it so much". You wrapped your arms around his neck. "I love you".

"You deserve better. A fancier ring. Like all those girls in that bridal magazine, you think I dont know about have". Rip chuckled, looking into your eyes.

Rip had just asked you to marry him and of course you said yes. But even with your excitement and love for Rip. He still wasnt sure about the ring. He searched day and night looking for the right ring. One day he came upon this little ring at a pawn shop and he knew it was you. But deep down he thought you deserved better than what he could afford.

"I don't want anything that those girls have, well maybe one of their dresses or something like it. But I have everything I ever wanted standing right here in front of me. You're everything to me and it doesnt matter if I have a pebble from the creek on my finger or the worlds most expensive diamond. My love will never change for you. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere. Now should we celebrate or what"? You wiggled your eyebrows with a giggle.

Rip cracked a grin. "Let's celebrate, darlin". He wrapped his arms around your waist, lifting you up and swirling you around. Your lips smashed on his. This is one of the happiest moments Rip has ever had. He gets to marry his bestfriend, his girl and his shit taker. He knew you were a keeper if you could take on this life.
