"Can you tell me why we have to get up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday? I didnt even get to brush my teeth properly". You yawn, BooBear your horse trotted along behind John.

"Oh, darlin, did you not get your beauty sleep"? John teased, as he slowed down his horse to ride beside you.

"What are you saying, John"? You put your hand on your hip.

"Nothing. You're just cranky and whiny this morning".

"That's because someone woke me up from a peaceful sleep. Just you wait when you're taking a afternoon nap and sleeping good. I'm going to wake your butt up and annoy you". You giggle when you saw John mocking you.

"I bet you anything you'll be laying down with me taking a nap".

"Ah babe, you know me so well". You both laugh. "So where are we going"?

"Can't I just ask for a horse ride with my woman on a beautiful sunday morning"?

"No. You have everything planned. Day by day and this wasnt on the schedule. So, spill".

"I just wanted to watch the sunrise with you, is that so bad"? John stopped his horse as he got to the end of a clearing, the sun was peeking over the mountain. The sky was a soft purple, orange, pink and blue. Little clouds were scattered around.  Which made it ten times more beautiful.

"Oh, John. This is gorgeous". You gasped, getting off your horse.

"Not as gorgeous as you are". John stood by you and took your left hand in his.

"Ah, baby".

"I wanna ask you something. It's been on my mind for a long time". John got down on one knee in front of you. The sun behind him started coming up.

"Wha- what are you doing right now"? Your jaw dropped.

"I want you to be my wife. I know people have brought us down and told us that we wouldn't make it. We have proven them wrong for three years. You are my bestfriend, my girl and the apple of my eye. I love you. Will you marry me"?

"Oh my- yes! Yes, yes". You wrapped your arms around his neck and hugged him. "I love you more than anything".

John stood up and brought out a black box. He opened it up and took the ring out and slipped it on your ring finger.

"I'm so thankful you're mine". John cupped your face and brought you in for a kiss.

You smile against his lips. "Thank you for bringing me here. This was the most amazing proposal ever".

"And you didn't want to get up this morning". John laughed and wrapped his arms around your waist as you both watched the sun fully come up.

"Just wait til your napping". You pecked his cheek and snuggled into his embrace.
