After the movie was finished Korra walked home. She breathed in deeply as the brisk air flooded her lungs and she thought about the day. She smiled thinking about it, but her thoughts were cut off as someone ran past her, bumping into her shoulder. She looked behind her at the person running, unable to make out their black figure in the darkness when suddenly a burst of fire came out of nowhere. Korra was instantly concerned as she watched the running figure collapse and two other figures approach it. She watched the fire bender and the other individual approach the person who bumped her. Her heart began to race and she could think of no better thing to do than yell,

"Hey!" and ran towards them, with a flame in her hand. They both turned towards her, and ran. Before they left however Korra could tell one of them was a female, and the firebender was a male. She then remembered the other person involved and she looked down to her side at the person who was now laying, unconscious, on the ground. She crouched down and made sure they were physically ok, and gently shook their shoulder in hopes they would awake. No such luck though. Korra pulled out her phone, and called Mako. She wasn't really sure who else she could call that would get there soon enough, and since Mako was so close... it seemed like a good idea.

"Hello?" Mako said as he answered the phone. He seemed a bit confused, maybe she had woken him up, she didn't really care though.

"Hey sorry Mako, uh long story short I need your help to get an unconscious dude to the hospital," Korra spoke quickly.

Mako didn't say anything for a moment, "Where are you? i'm leaving my apartment now." He sounded less annoyed now, and actually worried. Good she thought. She gave him the street name and hung up, checking once again to see if the unconscious man was ok. She waited for a couple minutes and then heard Mako running. She stood and waved to him, he waved in return.

"Sorry, I wasn't really sure what to do, and I just thought of you first," Korra said nervously, "oh uh also, we might want to report this as a crime, there were two other people here, one shot fire at him which I think he might've jumped back and hit his head. The other one was just following. The firebender was a taller guy and the other person was a lady."

Mako got out his phone and nodded. "I'll call the chief and get him an ambulance, then we can talk to him for questioning," he paused and looked at her, "It might've been better just to mention why he was knocked out or just called the police in the first place." Korra let out a nervous laugh and scratched the back of her neck. He was right, she didn't know why she didn't do that.

***Thank you for reading!***

Sorry all for this taking so long. This summer has been interesting to say the least, and I really forgot I had written a story on here haha. I also apologize for this chapter being shorter. It took me awhile to figure out where I wanted this story to go, and im just trying to write what I can. I can say though that I wouldn't have the inspiration I have now if this summer wasn't so crazy.

Thank you again for reading, every read means so much to me and I love you all <3
