Korra woke in the middle of the night. She was burning hot, so she got up and went to get some water from the kitchen. She walked silently past Mako. He was asleep on the couch, she filled up a cup of water, and she must have been too loud, because when she looked over at him again he was sitting up, rubbing one of his eyes. Korra turned off the water, "Hey sorry to wake you." He looked frightened and scared. "Are you ok Mako?"Korra asked him a little concerned. He blinked a few times and then looked back to normal, "Oh nothing just a bad dream." Korra walked over to him and sat down next to him, "What was it about?" He looked at her, "It was about you Korra, it was when you were captured by Zaheer, but I was there and I couldn't do anything to stop him from poisoning and hurting you." He shuddered as he spoke. Korra's face changed, she understood how he felt, she knew the feeling. "Well I'm ok now, there's nothing to worry about now Mako," She said putting a hand on his back. Mako smiled crookedly, "Your right Korra, thanks." They made eye contact for a second, then Korra stood," well ill go back to sleep, ill need to be back early so Tenzin doesn't worry." Mako nodded, realizing that people would wonder... Korra and Mako both went back to sleep this time easily and happily. Korra woke early and got ready for the day in a rush. When she walked into the kitchen/living room Mako was there. "Hey good morning," He said with a smile. Korra smiled back, "Hey, sorry I'm in a hurry, I might get in trouble." Mako nodded and walked over to her to give her a cup of coffee in a paper cup. "Here, I know it's not a full breakfast, but at least you'll be energized." Korra took the cup, "Thanks Mako, that's thoughtful." Mako smiled and nodded, "Well ill see you around Korra." Korra gave him a hug and opened the door, "Bye Mako, Thank you!" She closed the door and walked to the elevator to leave. Korra's cheeks blushed pink, and she couldn't stop it. She hated that she felt that way, but she couldn't help her heart from fluttering. As for Mako, he also had a blush, he didn't realize that he still felt that way for Korra, but he was glad. When Korra got back Tenzin was going insane. "Korra! where were you, we have been worried sick!" He had said when she returned. "Sorry Tenzin, it was too foggy and cold to come back last night, so Mako let me stay at his place," Korra said quickly, trying to make it sound as innocent as it really was. Tenzin raised an eyebrow but didn't say anything. Korra smiled awkwardly and began to walk away. When Korra got to her room, she was surprised, but not exactly in a pleasant way. Asami was there, in her room. Korra's blood boiled, she was beginning to get over Asami and now she wanted to come back?! Korra frowned and folded her arms, looking at Asami. "Korra, I- I know that we broke up and I said some pretty harsh stuff, but I'm sorry, and I've really missed you," Asami said, taking a step towards Korra. Korra was still mad, her opinion unchanging. "Asami, I'm not sure how to respond, you broke my heart, and I was starting to forget and move on, and now you want to get back together?" It was impossible not to see how upset Korra was. "Korra I-" Asami started, but Korra cut her off, "No, Asami we are staying broken up- I can't suffer because you can't figure out your emotions. I need you to leave." Asami looked hurt, but Korra didn't care that much, because Asami had hurt her first, Asami had been the one that had lied to her about how she felt when she should have been honest from the start. Korra sighed and sat down on her bed after Asami left. She felt guilty about yelling at Asami, and for moving on so quickly, but she couldn't hide the truth. Especially from Mako...

Hey sorry, that took sooo long, school started and it's been really busy. Also sorry this one was extremely short haha. I promise the next one will be longer. Thanks for reading it means so so much! Especially if you vote on it *hint hint nudge nudge*
