Chapter 4: Fire

Taehyung's mouth was on fire. He was literally screaming. That was to spicy for him. He was regretting his decision.  

"Mommy!!!"

"Tears of penance following after...

Wail of regrets from all the spurious past.

Birth of a filial child."(Our thoughts while watching Taehyung's every reaction.)

Taehyung was panting and rubbing his tongue. The top of his ears were a little red. His lips were red like a ripe tomato. 

"Mom, I love you. I'll be good to you."

Me and Hoseok were enjoying the show. We were laughing seeing his pain. He became loyal to his mother after eating a bit of tteokbokki. 

"Here, have some fish cake soup. Fish cake serves as an emergency coolant." (me) 

I was trying to hide my laughter. But still, I couldn't help it.

Taehyung quells the heat with fish cake.

To mimic Taehyung, Hoseok ate another rice cake with more appealing mukbang style.

"It's not spicy for me. Tae, you're such a crybaby. Tteokbokki is the snack of my life."

Now, Taehyung was angry but he was staring at Hoseok with a cold gaze. 

He ate another piece of fiery, spicy tteokbokki and quelled the heat with fish cake.

I was watching that exciting fiery tteokbokki battle between them.

Happiness needs no complicated rules.
