(Jinxx)
I hate sleeping in the bus. Don't get me wrong I love the tours and the guys like brothers, but the bus sucked for many reasons. I could hear Ashley with all of his girls. Andy and CC would sometimes snore like truckers, but it wasn't very comment that they did. Lastly Jake was always getting up to get food. So in other words it wasn't easy to sleep. To only think I had this to look forward to for another three months.
I looked out the window in my bunk to see we had arrived at Salt Lake City, Utah. We would be staying here for the next week and prep for the show.
I crawled out of my bunk and headed for the mini kitchen. Like usual, I was the first one to be up and moving. I started a pot of coffee before moving to one of the couches. Not soon after me Jake woke up. He took one of the chairs and turned the tv on to a random movie channel.
"Morning Jake." I said while yawning.
Jake nodded his head. "How did you sleep last night," he asked while stretching.
"Like shit, how'd you sleep," I asked while getting up to pour the hot coffee I just made.
"Same here, hey can I have a cup?" Jake leaned back and looked up at me from his chair.
"Yeah sure, here." I handed him the cup. He gladly took it and turned his attention back to the tv.
I went to the table with my phone in one hand and my cup of coffee in the other hand. I sat down and began to go through my social media. After my coffee I went to the bathroom and got dressed in a Misfits shirt and black skinny jeans. I put on some shoes then went back to the mini kitchen. I snuck one of Jakes protein bars in my pocket for breakfast. Lastly I grabbed my phone and sunglasses.
"See you later Jake."
"Where are you going this early?" Jake asked while not breaking eye contact with the tv.
"For one thing it's around 11 and I'm just going to walk around the city. Check out the college and stuff like that. I'll be back later." Jake nodded his head and I walked off the bus into the dry Utah air.
I began to walk down one of the streets. I stopped in a few small stores and bought a couple of things. For Utah though it was a nice day. The sun was out, but it wasn't hotter than hell. A light breeze was coming now and then which probably helped with the heat.
After a few minutes I saw some statue. Since I like history I decided to go check it out. I got over there and began to read the little plaque that explained the significance of it. After reading more than half of it someone bumped into me. I turned around to see a girl.
"Oh sorry," she softly told me.
She was fairly tall, just a bit shorter than me. She had a voice that was so delicate and soft. Her hair had been straightened, and she had a black lip ring on the left side of her mouth. To say I was at a loss for words was an understatement.
"Oh no worries," I quickly replied after taking off my sunglasses. A look of confusion crossed her face before continuing on her way. I couldn't let her leave for some unknown reason. "Hey I like your shirt."
She stopped and looked at me for a brief moment, "Thanks. I like your shirt too." Then she began to walk away again. I decided to jog up to her and introduce myself.
"So do you want to go get lunch some lunch or something?" I hoped she would say yes.
"Well first thing I don't know you so for all I know you could be an ax murderer."
"Well let's change that. I'm Jeremy but my friends call me Jinxx." I stretched out my hand and we shook hands.
Then we continued to talked. She had recognized me, and thank goodness she wasn't a crazy fan. Also her name was Georgia. Georgia was pretty smart for her I age I think. I also came up with the nickname Georgia Peach for her. Only because of the fact that peaches are grown in that state, but she seemed to like it.
We ended up going to a subway. We both ordered and ate our sandwiches. Once we finished Georgia Peach took car if the trash and we left.
"Well I have to get back to college. I have a class in 20 minutes." She looked down at her feet like she really didn't want to leave.
"Here give me your phone." I handed her mine and I took hers. We exchanged numbers then returned the phones.
"Hey are you coming to the concert this that's in like a week," I asked.
"Yea I plan on it. Why?"
"Let me know when you get there. That way you can come back with me and the guys."
Then I took her delicate hand and brought my lips down on it. I looked up to see her blushing. "Till we meet again?"
"Till we meet again," she replied. Then Georgia turned around and left.
I turned the other way and began to go back to the bus. I had forgot about everything else, the only thing on my mind was Georgia. So i looked at the new number in my phone that was under Georgia Peach. I couldn't think my smile could get any bigger but it did. This girl did something to me, but I wasn't sure what it was exactly just yet.
