Georgia just went back to her bunk. I watched her as she walked back. She had a big day and a pretty exciting one at that. I hope she like the concert as much as I did. I mean, this concert was just a tidbit more special than all the others. It was all because of her smiling face.
Jake had grabbed the tv remote and began to flip through channels. I felt my phone vibrate and checked it.
PrincessPeach-Hey could u and CC come back to my bunk?
I replied back and texted CC telling him what Georgia wanted us to do. He grabbed his phone and looked at me. I nodded at him and we walked back.
CC opened her bunk and she got out with a plastic bag in her hands. She started to walk back to the end room. She went and sat on the couch. I closed the door and turned around. My jaw almost hit the floor at what's in front of me.
Georgia looked down and began to play with her hands. I could tell this was a huge step for her to trust us. She was now in just a tank top. Her arms were exposed. I sat next to her and took one of her hands. I examined them carefully then moved up to her arms. Each of her arms had multiple red and peeling patches. They look painful. Some were the size of a dime while there were others that were the size of my thumb or bigger.
Georgia took off the tank top, so now she was only in her bra. If this was any other occasion I would have been happy, but I only felt sympathy towards my princess. The red patches continued down her sides onto her torso.
"I know they are ugly, it's call psoriasis."
I could see silent tears run down her face. I looked over to CC. He sat there like I was. I didn't know how to respond so I took the girl into my arms and held her. CC took her hand gave it a gentle squeeze. A minute later she sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"They aren't ugly," CC said.
"Your aren't ugly," I said.
"Now don't feel sorry for me; i have had this since the 4th grade. So it's no big deal. But I do need your help."
"What do you need Georgia," CC ask in a calm voice.
"I need one of you to give me these," she shook the bag in the air, "Its a medication that I have to take and it's just one shot per spot. It's only for the spots the size of dimes or larger."
I nodded my head and took the bag from her. I rolled one of the needles and connected it to a syringe. Before I could do anything she laid down and told CC to hold her hand and lay across her legs. Apparently the shots sometimes hit nerves and she would kick or hit something on accident.
I took the syringe and pushed the liquid into the needle. I gently pushed it into one of her spots. I heard her let out a sigh. I looked over to her and saw her delicate hands clenched. Her knuckles were white and her eyes were squeezed shut. I pulled out the needle and saw her slightly relax. I changed syringes and moved to the next spot. This time her leg moved, but with CC on top of them her legs wouldn't do any damage.
For the next half hour I moved from spot to spot. Poor Georgia must be in so much pain. That's all I could think of, the amounts of pain she had to endure on a day to day basis. Both mental and physical pain, not to mention the looks people probably gave her. Then I figured that is why she wore long sleeves all of the time. I ended up going through a third of the bag by the time I was done.
CC got up and Georgia rolled over and took a couple more shots to her stomach and front of her shoulders. Her eyes were a little red and glossy.
CC got up and made it to the door. His eyes had a couple of unshed tears sitting on the edge of falling. "Hey Peaches, if you ever need anything let me know." Then he went out door and closed it again.
I looked at Georgia and saw that her eyes were almost closed. "This is the one of the side effects of this medication." She barely whispered it. I covered her up and turned off the lights. I quietly walked out the door and into my bunk.
I just laid there. I stared up at the ceiling thinking about Georgia. She was beautiful, and she wasn't the type of girl I usually fell for. She has this long, almost black colored hair for one thing. It framed her face perfectly. It brought out her tan completion and dark brown eyes. Those eyes were hypnotizing. I could get lost in them for hours. Also her smile could light up a room. Georgia is tall for a girl too, almost as tall as me. Usually I would find that intimidating, but I didn't fell intimidated around her. She want stick thin either. Georgia had curves and muscle. She was super smart and athletic. This girl was changing my world around. I think I might be falling for her.
Just then i heard a scream and a couple of moans. I jumped up in my bunk and hit my head. I feel out of my bed and scrambled up to check on Georgia. God I hope nothing happened to her.
I got to the room and swung the door open. Georgia was still asleep but was violently turning in her sleep. The guys stood behind me after running to get here.
"She's ok, I'm going to guess a night terror or something. I got it."
"Ok but that must be one hell of a night terror," Andy replied.
He and the other left to go back to their bunks or do something. Jinxx stayed though.
"What's been up Jinxx? I've noticed you have been distant lately."
He just stood there watching her sleeping figure. "I don't know. I thought I liked her, but I have no idea."
"What do you mean?" Geesh this is not what I needed right now. I had just admitted to myself that I liked her and one of my best friends says he might like her.
"Like when I held her hand earlier I never felt that weird tingling sensation, or when I kissed her cheek I never felt anything. But she continues to take my breath away when she walks into a room, and I find her so beautiful."
I let out an internal sigh of relief. "Well maybe you think of her of a sister more or something? Maybe you feel like you need to watch over her and protect her."
He just nodded his head, "probably, but I see how you look at her Purdy. Just don't break her heart."
With that Jinxx left me. I walked into the room and sat on the couch. Georgia began to swing her arms and let out a cross between a sigh and scream. I gently shook her. Her eyes sprung open and she looked up at me.
"Please don't go."
Tears began to form in those beautiful eyes. I quickly wiped them away and got under the blanket. I felt her body mold into mine. I put my arm around her waist. I gently brought her closer to me. I felt her breathing even out and slow down. I gently kissed her cheek.
"I'm not going anywhere princess."
