Over the next month, Ashley and I have been attached at the hip. We never left each others sides. If we did, it was for no longer than a day at a time. I would follow him to his shows that happened every once in a while. He would come with me on my morning jogs that I recently began doing. We did basically everything together.

I wish it could stay the same but sadly everything has to come to an end. This was my last week in Cali before heading back to Michigan. It was the middle of August, and my college courses started back up in the beginning of September.

I plan on leaving a week early to move in to the apartment. My cousin and I are planning to rent together to save money. Alice isn't going to college but she has a job in East Lansing. She has narrowed it down to a couple of places. Hopefully she chooses one so I can move my stuff out there.

I'm dreading the move to be honest. This was going to be the longest I had ever been away from him. I'm worried that he could find another girl and forget about me. He has millions of them swarming him, so it would be pretty easy if you think about it. I had to make this last week count before heading out.

I rolled off the bed and made my way towards the staircase. Both dogs sat on the edge of the landing, waiting to be pet. I gave Tokyo a pat on the head and picked Killer up. I walked downstairs and saw the back of Ashley's head against the black couch. I crept up behind him and dropped Killer on his lap.

Ash gave a startled yelp, and began to chuckle once he realized it was just Killer. His head turned around and his eyes met mine. A smile formed on his soft lips.

"Hey there darling," he greeted me and motioned for me to sit next to him.

I walked around the couch and took a seat. I leaned back against Ash. His arm went over my shoulders and his hand began to play with whisps of hair that had fallen out of my bun

"So whatcha doing?"

"Nothing much but watching some tv before heading out to the studio."

"Ok," I said "What time do you think you will be home," I asked while petting Skittles who just joined us on the couch.

"Well we are working on a new song, so I'll probably be home fairly late. What are your plans for today?"

"I was going to see if Juliet was free for a little girl time," I said while taking his free hand in mine.

"Sounds like fun," he said before kissing me.

I grabbed my phone off the coffee table and turned it on. I found Juliet's number and sent her a text. Then I turned my attention back to Ash and the tv. He was watching some crime show, but for some reason I wasn't getting into it. So I just sat there quietly for a few minutes, with the thoughts taking over my mind.

"Hey babe, you ok? You're seeming a bit tense and being unusually quiet," Ashley spoke up and turned the tv off.

"Oh yeah, nothing to worry about," I told him with an unconvincing smile.

"Are you sure, because you can tell me anything," said my persistent boyfriend.

"Don't worry Ash it's all good, trust me."

He didn't reply for a minute. He just looked at me, trying to decipher what was wrong. I wanted to tell him, but I also didn't want him to worry. I knew that me moving back to Michigan was already hard enough for the both of us. I didn't want to make it any harder.

"Ok, just remember that I am a phone call away. Now I have to go to the studio," he said while getting up off the couch. Ash gave me a quick kiss and grabbed his keys. "I love you Peaches."
