Chapter 17

 A/n; Im not the best at drawing but heres an idea of how Arisu looks

Arius's pov
-

I look down at the outfit Illumi made me buy and cringe. 

"Why do I have to wear this again?" I ask Illumi. He gives me a side glance and pulls a needle out of his mouth. 

"Because you have to look presentable," Illumi stated. I look over at my brother who is currently admiring his reflection. He fixed his bow and turned to look at me with a smug look. 

"Yeah sue, this is the first time I've seen you look pretty in a long time," Kichi remarked. I gave him an offended look and rolled my eyes. I hear Illumi stifle back a chuckle and I turned back to the mirror to fix my hair. It was currently slicked back but still had enough flow in it to look good on me. My eyes had slight eyeliner on them to make my eyes stand out more. My attire was a suit and tie, well it looked like it was at least. 

I think I look okay, I don't really find the person looking back at me attractive, to say the least but it's doable. Once I finished putting on my shoes I turned to look at Illumi and see him in a dark maroon suit, his hair was slicked to one side and his eyes bore into mine as if he were daring me to speak out on his looks. Looking away from him I turned my attention to my brother. I grabbed his hair and pulled him towards me. 

"Ow, ow!" He winced and I snorted. 

"Calm down I didn't even pull that hard," I say as I pulled his messy uneven hairs into a bun at the back of his head. Grabbing a hair tie I tighten it and put a bobby pin at the bottom to hold his hair in place. Once I finished I looked into the mirror and almost smiled back to myself. I know I should be worried but I have full faith that we will be getting those innocent kids out of there safely. Plus we all looked cool, even this little 13-year-old kid that I call my brother. 

"...Kichi do you have your number?" Illumis' voice made my brother and I turn around. I grabbed my brother's head and tilted it to the side. There was a written #1 on his neck and I nodded at Illumi. 

"Yes, I do! I even made sure to put it in the same place and in the same font." Kichi smiled widely at Illumi. I rolled my eyes and took in a deep breath. 

"Okay, so now what?" I ask Illumi. It was currently 10 pm and I still don't know the plan. Illumi looks over at me and I see a piercing on his bottom lip. I almost choked on my own spit taking in the sight before me. 

"Arisu you're going to enter through the front door with this." He handed me a card and I looked down at it. A picture of a girl who looked similar to me was on it with the name 'rei Tanaka.' "You will be Kichi's, or 'Eikos' escort. That will be his name for today." Illumi said and my brother nodded.  Illumi turned back to me and handed me some sunglasses. 

"You look similar to the girl I killed earlier but your eyes are a dead give away so where this and do not take it off unless they already know you aren't who you say you are." He instructed me. I nodded at him and cleaned my sweaty hands. He gave me the location and my mission before he opened the door and began to leave. 

"And where will you be?" I ask Illumi. Illumi gives me a cold glare and plays with the piercing on his lip. 

"I'm going to be killing everyone in there of course." He said and turned to walk away. Kichi and I just watched as he left. I watched as he put on some sunglasses and I smiled looking down at the sunglasses he gave me. 

I put my hands behind my brother's back and led him in the opposite direction of Illumi. 

"I like him." I heard my brothers' voice say. I look down at him and notice tears in his eyes. I stop him and kneel down to look him in the face. 

"What's wrong?" I ask as I wipe his tears. Kichi looks away from me trying to stop his tears. 

"Nothing. Mom just died and I don't know what else to do. Why did she leave us?" He cried and I held him closer to me. We stayed like that for a minute before I finally felt him calm down. 

"We will talk about that later okay? Right now let's go have some fun, yes?" I grabbed his face and he nodded at me. Getting up I put on the sunglasses I was given and began walking to our destination. 

I felt my eyes sting the second I put the glasses on and I swallowed my tears back. I grabbed my brother's hands tighter and we both made our way to the abandoned area of this island. Once we got closer to our destination I put my brother in handcuffs and muzzled him. 

"Do I at least look cool?" Kichi remarked in annoyance. I fixed my hair and looked down at him. 

"Yeah, sure of course yeah." I grabbed him with shaky hands and I felt his eyes on me. I turned to look at him and nodded. I was nervous. It just dawned on me how dangerous this mission could be and how I could end up losing my last 2 family members. 

We made it to an open area and I looked around to see if anyone was around. Once I was sure nobody was watching I put the license Illumi handed to me on the ground and I stepped back. A few minutes pass before I saw someone come and get it. I saw them nod and I step out with the Kichi. 

"I didn't expect you to be with the kid Rei." The male's voice said. I smiled and gave him a chuckle. 

Am I supposed to say something back? What if they recognize that my voice isn't reis? I watched as he watched me closely for a reply and I began to talk.

"Oh well, Eiko here, and his buddy got into an argument so he asked me to bring him instead." I put on my best elegant accent and waited to see the man's response. A few seconds passed before the guy handed me back my license and he looked down at Kichi. 

"You guys are in an argument again? Did he not get you your favorite muffin?" The man taunted Kichi. I look down at Kichi who was just giving the older man a death glare. 

"Ha ha." Kichi gave the man a sarcastic laugh and my eyes widened, what does this boy think he's doing? I see the man turn to look at me with a wide smile and he takes in a deep breath. 

"As feisty as always." He smiles. I stand there staring at him for a second before he gives me a surprised look and nods. "Oh yes, I'm so sorry Mrs the door is right this way." 

I'm led to a rock and he proceeds to open a door I didn't see. I'm suddenly hit with a warm breeze and I begin to hear people talking.
