I woke up early and got ready for school and ran downstairs to eat my breakfast.
At the table was just my mom and dad. Clay never usually eat with us. Which to be honest is a little boring.
I sat down and ate my milk and cereal in silent until my mom spoke up. " You ready for school? ".
I looked at her and nodded. Clay later came into the kitchen. " Are you gonna eat with us Clay? " dad said smiling. ". No but Alyssa....why is Montgomery De La Cruz outside our house by his car? " he asked me. I nearly chocked my cereal when he said it. I never knew Monty was gonna be this early. " Um...he offered me a ride.." I said nervously. My parent's and brother didn't know me and Monty were friends. Not that I wasn't allowed to but I never had the chance to tell them.
" Are you and Montgomery a thing or?..." my dad asked. " NO! No no no we are just friend's! He just cares about me. " I Said quickly while getting up from my seat and placed my dishes in the sinks. I later ran out the door waving to my family as I got out. When I glises the door I turned around seeing Monty in his Liberty High jacket.
" Good morning to you to Montgomery " I Said while making my way over to the car. " Good morgning, Ally. And why is your mom standing by the window starring at us? " he said while smirking. He was right. My mom did indeed stare at us thru the window. " Um...well Clay saw you and he told my parents so..." I said really quiet. Monty looked at me before driving of to school.
When we got there me and Monty made our ways away from each other not saying a word. We never spoke so mutch in school. Monty was this sort of a guy who was never in a relationship. He only did one nightstands with other girl's. It was never me which I was happy over.
I didn't want our friendship to be ruined.
As I was making my way thru the doors I heard a yell from Alex Standall. " THE FUCK?! "
I looked over seeing him and Monty screaming at each other until Monty pushed him to the ground getting on top of him while punching him.
This is what I meant with the on and off friendship.
