"I'll be fine." I groaned. Regulus tightened his grip around me from behind, his head nestling into my neck.

"I'll miss you." I giggled at the heat of his breath on my skin, playfully trying to escape his grasp.

"It's two days Regulus." We wrestled as I turned around within his arms. He lowered his hands to scoop me up off the floor, my legs instantly spreading and wrapping around him.

"Come with me." He pleaded, kissing the palms of my hands as I ran them over his cheeks. "I won't sleep without you next to me." I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't hide the smile of knowing how much he needed me. Not being the reaction he'd wanted he swiftly threw me onto the bed, our bodies crashing as I ricocheted up from the mattress.

"Eloise I'll die without you." He pinned my hands down as we both laughed. "I can't go two days without you." He kissed me gently, his tongue warming my mouth. I saw his eyes move from mine to the side, and I knew he was looking at my mark again. I caught him looking at it often, sometimes I felt his fingers lightly brushing over it repeatedly.

"Regulus." He looked back at me, his long hair falling onto my cheeks. "You'll be fine. I have work to do, and you need to see your family." I lifted my head asking for another kiss, hoping the conversation would be over. The last thing I felt like doing was going to meet his pretentious parents, and it also meant I'd be working alone for the first time. I was moving up the ranks. There was a knock at the door, making us both stare at each other blankly.

"No one knows-"

"No, no one knows we're here." Regulus responded as he lifted himself towards the creaky door. We had been living in a small cabin in Wiltshire during our missions and had given no one our location. It had become our small safe haven, and I did not like the idea of being intruded. I lifted myself from the bed, quickly reaching to the dresser to pick up my wand in preparation for a fight. Regulus looked back at me for a moment before turning the door handle, his long sculpted torso glowing in the early morning moonlight. His other hand held the end of his wand protruding from the pocket of his trousers. He looked on edge, protective. I liked it. Regulus opened the door and the bitterness of the early chill cut through our little home making me suddenly very aware of how Regulus' shirt hardly covered my legs.

"My Lord." Regulus' words made my heart stop. I narrowed my eyes to see the dark figure take a step forward, the floorboards creaking under his large frame. My mouth opened slightly as his eyes turned from Regulus to me. The silver moonlight kissed the angles of his face as he turned to me, his dark eyes slowly moving down my body, over the open top three buttons of the flimsy white shirt towards my exposed legs. I watched him as he smiled slightly at the sight of my fingers tightly gripped around my wand.

"My Lord." I whispered bowing my head, drawing his attention to my knotted bed-hair. As I flickered my eyes back up to his I felt my anger rising at the cockiness embedded in his grin.

"I do hope I'm not..." He took another step forward, allowing enough room for Regulus to shut the door behind him. "...interrupting anything." He tried to stare at my eyes, but I watched him fall into the depth of my cleavage and felt a strange mixture of embarrassment and power. Regulus' face dropped at the realisation of my appearance, making him grab a large blanket from the small sofa and rush past the man.

"Of course not, my Lord. I'm sorry if we'd expected you we would have..." Regulus stammered. I never broke the Dark Lord's stare as Regulus wrapped the wool around me.

"I was made aware Miss Griffin would be carrying out her first solo mission, is that correct?" He asked, the depth of his voice matched with his incessant gaze making my mouth go dry.

"Yes, I requested-" Regulus began.

"To see your family." The Dark Lord nodded. "Please send your mother my best wishes." Regulus looked at me. He knew he was being told to leave, but the idea of leaving me here alone with him sent a cold sweat down his back. I didn't like that this man felt he could enter my home, our home, and take charge of what was mine. I focused my glare at him as Regulus hastily placed on a shirt and jacket. He grabbed his half-packed suitcase before turning to me. I nodded at him, but he surprised me in a way only Regulus could by rushing over and hugging me tightly. I wrapped my arms around him, peering at the man over Regulus' shoulder.

"I'll be back as soon as I can." He whispered into my neck before lifting his head to push his lips onto mine.
