Once upon a time long ago
A woodcutter was cutting a tree,
His old axe fell in the lake nearby
He was as sad as a man can be.He cried near the lake
And tried hard to find his thing,
But it fell surely in the water
Now, what will he do for a living? When he lost his hopes, suddenly
A Goddess from the lake appeared,
With a golden axe in her hand
"This isn't mine." He honestly clearedShe disappeared and appeared again
With a silver axe in her hand,
"Even this doesn't belong to me."
The woodcutter took his stand. She vanished again and came back
With the woodcutter's axe with her,
He cried, "It's mine. Oh, Goddess."
But Alas! she again disappeared. He was confused but he waited
With all the axe she returned,
"This gold and silver axes are
What your honesty has earned."He took his reward and left
Completely happy and fulfilled,
Showing that honesty is beneficial
Not the greed that we always build._______________________________
