Once upon a time long ago
A household had a small baby,
Her father decided to give her
A pet mongoose's company.
So they made a mongoose their pet
And he used to play with the child,
But the Mom found him dangerous
She believed he is just wild.
Once when she went to the market
And the father also went outside,
The baby and mongoose were alone
On the cot, the baby cried.
When the Mom arrived she saw
The mongoose in a mood for fun,
With blood in his whole mouth
The baby he must have eaten.
The woman threw whatever
She had in her hands,
On that bloody mongoose
Things of different brands.
Her life was all destroyed
To imagine what happened,
But to see her baby sleeping
Her agony came to an end.
She saw a snake on the floor
With her body in two parts,
Now she found the real story
Into two broke her heart.
She checked, but the saviour mongoose
Was already dead until then,
Asking us to think before acting
Or you won't know what can happen.
