Once upon a time long ago
Where A King was named Midas,
He did a great deed and
Got a wish for whatever he asks.He asked God for a power
To turn everything as gold
Just by touching it once
That's how his wish he enfolds.God granted him the ability
He tried it again and again,
Things changed into gold by a touch
He was happy from the heart to the brain. But, oh! When he was hungry
And wasn't able to eat anything,
The food always turned hard gold
Whenever it was touched by the king.Pain and sorrow filled Midas
And the hunger struck him hard,
"I'll starve." He cried aloud
In the middle of his golden yard. His beloved daughter approached
To see The King in such dismay
She hugged the King to comfort him
But soon turned hard by the gold play. The King lost his precious daughter
In his greed for gold and golden halls,
But he never knew that the greed
Will always lead to one's downfall._______________________________
