8• The Unity👴

Once upon a time long ago
Where a man went old and weak,
He had 3 sons all young and strong
To whom, he could never speak.

They always fought and never heard
What their father wanted to say,
Hatred was all they shared
Never heard of brotherhood anyways.

So one day when their father
Was almost at his dead-end,
He called all of them and asked
To be each others friend.

But as he expected they all
Refused in the first place,
So he gave them a bundle of sticks
And asked them to start a race.

The one who breaks all the sticks
In the bundle will get all,
Whatever the old man owns
So that's why the sons were called.

They all tried a lot but
The bundle of sticks was strong,
If they could break them separately
It wouldn't have taken so long.

When all their efforts failed
Their father announced again,
All of you break one from it
If the property they want to gain.

They did it very easily
And got the lesson they were taught,
That unity has strength and
We are weak when broken apart.

Hey reader,
This old man was surely smart. Do you fight with your siblings as well?
