It was not in fact, just the light.

After leaving the car with my luggage and watching it drive away, I met with principle Wiley. When I asked about the fountain he turned red and said 'boys will be boys'. It took me a moment to realise what he meant and I immediately felt disgusted, if I wasn't about to living in the same building as these boys, I'm sure I'd find it more amusing.

The principle seemed nice enough and he was the friend my father spoke of. I wonder what he told him about me.

There was one thing about him, though, that pissed me off. His moustache. It was greasy and styled like Hitler's. It would be rude of me to let him continue walking around like that.

Once we entered his office, my eyes discretely searched his desk and I almost beamed at the scissors that lay on a stack of nearby papers. It's like it was meant to be.

"So, you're room number is 98, its on the second floor and here is your key." He tossed it at me and I caught it with one hand.

"Excuse me, sir," I feigned innocence, "You have a little something right there." I pointed at his moustache as he turned red and tried to swipe away the invisible dirt.

I kept shaking my head when he thought he got it and then said "Let me." I leaned across the desk, my left hand closing around the scissors as my right went to hold his face in a firm grasp. Before he could question anything, half of his moustache was on the floor and I was wheezing as I farted out the door and through the halls.

I was grateful someone had taken my bags to my room already because otherwise I would not be able to outrun the old man. He was surprisingly fast, which I guess he had to be considering he was working with delinquents.

I rounded a corner and darted down the corridor of what looked like a row of dorm rooms. Behind me, the principles shouts were echoing my name along with his footsteps.

At the last door in the corridor, I raised my hand and knocked ferociously, desperate for somewhere to hide.

The door opened a second later and I stepped in immediately, slamming the door behind me and looking through the peep hole. There was a moment of silence as I breathed relief then realised whoever opened the door must be very confused.

"Who the hell are you?" A deep voice snarled.

I turned slowly and my eyes collided with three very attractive guys.

The one who opened the door looked angry and confused, his dark hair was tousled and his green eyes looked as though they could see through my soul. Creepy am I right?

Behind him stood two others. A blond guy who looked confused and a brown haired guy who looked highly amused.

All three of them towered over me considering I was only 5,3. Curse my short height.

"I'm-"

Before I could finish, the principle's voice echoed down the corridor, "Desponia Grey get back here right now."

"Stupid bitch stole my introduction." I huffed as I turned back to see through the peep hole. He seemed to be checking each apartment. "Dammit."

I turned back to the trio who now looked very amused, even angry boy had dropped his snarl a little.

"I'm Desponia but call me Des." I smiled, "I would apologise for barging in, but I'm great company so you're welcome."

They chuckled as I smiled, waiting for introductions.

The brunette boy took the hint and introduced himself, "I'm Atlas."

"Demetri." The angry boy spoke softly, his voice was sexy.

"And I'm you're new best friend. Name's Oliver." The blondie gave me a wide grin as he threw an arm over my shoulder.

I laughed, "Well since you're my best friend and all, Olly, can I call you Olly?" He nodded so I continued with a grin, "Care to cover for me when the principle asks if you've seen me running about?" I looked up giving him my best puppy dog eyes, he nodded instantly and I grinned in return.

"Why is the principle after you?" Atlas asked.

"Oh, well-"

A harsh series of knocks at the door made me freeze. "You'll see." I muttered before moving to hide behind it as Demetri pulled it open.

Atlas tried but failed to stifle laughter at the sight he was met with and Oliver joined in, I really wanted a better look at the principle now he was missing half a 'stache but resisted the urge to take a glance despite the temptation.

Demetri's lips lifted into an amused smile, his eyes discretely flickering to mine, and I felt quite proud of my little entrance. You only get one first impression.

"Boys. You haven't seen the new student around here have you? Her name is Desponia Grey, a right handful already." He muttered the last to himself but not very quietly. Demetri smiled a little more at that.

"No sir, can't say I have." He spoke smoothly as the principle turned to Olly and Atlas for confirmation.

Both nodded agreements.

He narrowed his eyes at them, glancing over their shoulders, then with a tight smile he sighed "Let me know if you see her." He turned and walked away briskly.

When the door shut I smiled widely at the boys faces. Each entertained.

Suddenly my smile dropped, I took a deep breath and could smell it better now.

"Uh, you okay?" Atlas asked.

"Do you have pizza?" I blurted.

They only looked more amused as they nodded.

I followed the scent straight to what appeared to be their kitchen and made myself at home with the delicious food. I internally moaned at the taste, pizza is the all time best food.

"Yes, sure, make yourself at home." Demetri mumbled as the three of them sat around the table.

"If you don't want me to eat your pizza just say it." I shrugged, taking a bite.

He narrowed his eyes, probably wondering what I was up to, "Fine. Don't eat my pizza."

"Fine." I smirked as I walked over to Atlas and plonked myself onto the seat next to him. I leaned in and whispered, "You don't mind, do you?" My eyes flickering between his pretty green eyes and his pizza as I bit my lip. His eyes roamed my face and a light, barely noticeable blush took over his features. He cleared his throat "Not at all." I leaned in and took a bite out of the slice he was nibbling with a triumphant smile.

"Thank you, globe boy." I grinned turning back to the others who were watching, they probably weren't expecting someone like me to show up today.

I guess that's just the kind of person I am- sudden, chaotic and reckless. In the best way possible.

"So what'd you think of the principles facial hair, or should I say lack-there-of?" I chuckled.

"It was great, can't believe you had the balls to do it. On you're first day too." Oliver laughed.

"You're gonna cause a lotta trouble around here aren't you, shortie?" Demetri smirked.

"I'm not short."

At that point all three of them were laughing at me. "Hey! I'm not! I'm almost average."

"Ha! Almost, not even average height." Demetri bellowed in the midst of his laughter.

I pulled a scowl onto my face as I snatched the last slice of pizza from the box and stood from the table, "Well, it was okay meeting you I guess. Thank you for harbouring a fugitive but I have things to do. Try not to miss me too much."

With a little smirk on my face, I strolled towards the door, peeking out down the corridor to make sure it was clear and then, slyly, I began to search for my own dorm room, it was easy enough to find and as soon as I locked the door behind me I was laying face first on my bed, sighing contentedly at the soft plush pillows.

To say this is a delinquent school, it's rather fancy.

Sleep embraced my rather quickly. Just five minutes.
