A/N: This is my first-time writing, so please give me your opinions and suggestions! I'm nervous about my writing so i thought I would do it Y/N style so you can give me feedback, thanks.

After the blip, the world felt numb, as if it would never recover. Most lost 5 years of their lives, whilst others lost their sanity. A worldwide outbreak occurred, similar to The Purge. The human race had seen the blip as a reality check, that life is too short... So why not live how they wanted to? In France, historical monuments were destroyed, and thousands died. Similarly, to France, Germany saw their government be destroyed, collapsing from the heat of protestors. Just like everyone else, America spiralled out of control: the news saw robbery, revenge, and violence plastered over the States.

Where were the Avengers?

They sat waiting, waiting for a moment where the world seemed as though it would listen. They could hear the cries for help from many innocents, who saw their lives burn into nothingness. Nothing could be done to control a planet which... to be put simply: did not care.

Money meant everything before the blip, you strived to have riches and bathe in gold. Now? Now money was used as toilet paper, worthless. The thing everyone wished they had, was now seen as a joke. It was no longer needed, anything you wanted, you found a way of getting whether that be by violence or manipulation.

We are no different from animals, we run in packs. We find our people and leach off of others. While some become independent and lived secluded, untrusting of the world around them. Others congregated in groups, thinking their best chance of survival was with the help of others. Like most things now, this turned into a game, which some would lose and very few would win.

When joining a group, initiation ceremonies are a given. College Frats thrive off of these competitions: how much can you drink? And who can width stand a night without sleep? These are now child's play. To join a group, you are tormented, stripped of basic human rights, and like in prison, made someone's bitch. You do as they please, or you are alone, a recluse.

Y/N L/N was a teenager with a dimly lit future ahead of her, a relationship stable enough it was able to withstand the 5000-mile distance separating the two, a mother who cared for the dying and a house which she had claimed hers at 3 years old. Nothing could disrupt her future. That was until the world became dark.

She became one of the careless.

A/N: I know where I want this to go but give me any suggestions. I hope this has been a good introduction and I will update this very soon!
