<One year later>

"Renée." dad shouted.

"What?" I asked. I looked down at my picture book, it had become a bit of an obsession.

"Dinner in 5 minutes ok?" dad shouted up.

"Yeah, ok." I replied. I flicked through the various pages. There was one of me, Dizzy and dad. We were at the airport at the time, on our way to visit Marie.

The next one was at Marie's house. She was smiling, although her brother had pasted away, she had had a baby can you believe it? He's called christopher and is beyond cute.

The next one is at home. Me and dad have painted the spare room lavender, this was soon to be Dizzy's room.

But the one at the back was so precious, I daren't take it from it's plastic cover, incase I scratched it.

It was of me and johnny. We were sitting side by side on the beach, Alice had taken the photo. I remember it so clearly, it could had easily been taken yesterday. Although it had been a year since I had seen Johnny. The thought burned my chest even though we hadn't spoken since then. He still believed that I had done all those terrible things to my mum and Marie.

Well I don't know that for sure, but he hasn't contacted me since, so I presumed Alice told him.

My fingers were wet, and I wasn't sure why until I realised a teardrop had landed on my varnished nails. I hastily whipped them away and sniffed loudly.

"Dinner!" dizzy shout from downstairs. I snapped the Photo album shut and went onto the landing, closing my bedroom door behind me. I trotted down one of the two marble staircases. I was now in the massive hall. It was completely made from marble and glittered from the light of the glass ceiling.

I turned down one of the small corridors and entered dinning hall number one. Nope not in that one today.

"Which one are you in?" I shouted, my voice echoing around the vast building.

"Third." Both my dad and Dizzy shouted. I turned down a second corridor and entered the third dinning room.

Dad smiled happily at me whilst a huge bowl of curry was placed on the table accompanied with rice and steamed veg.

"Looks fabulous!" I licked my lips gingerly.

"Yes it smells just Devine!" Dad picked up a serving spoon and dug into the tomato curry hungrily.

"Thank you." Dizzy grinned, she was bursting with pride. She sat at the table and started to eat too.

"Well Dizzy, as you know you have the next three days off, do you girls have anything planned?" Dad asked. Ever since Dizzy had moved in, me and her had come very close, and we would often do things together. She was a bit like a sister to me, and I guess dad thought of her as a second daughter too.

"Um well I might go shopping if you want to come too?" Dizzy asked hopefully. I nodded my head, as my mouth was full of the flavoursome curry.

After dinner I went back upstairs, and I had hardly entered my room before I heard a knock from... Somewhere. I peeped my head around the door, but no one had knocked. It wasn't the front door, because you would use the doorbell...
