“Ariella, can you come here for a second?” A voice called out from the end of the hall.

Ariella found herself in a dark corridor; she was unaware of where she was for there were no distinguishing features to give her a sense of familiarity. She slowly made her way towards the voice, however, a part of her was cautious but she felt safer being with someone than being alone. As she grew closer towards the voice, a faint light slowly lit up the hallway. She found herself at the borderline between light and dark; she took a deep breath, closing her emerald eyes and clenching her fist before she entered the light.

The light blinded her vision temporarily, slowly, her surroundings came into focus and she found herself not in her Grandmother’s house in Doncaster but in her old house, the house she lived in with both of her parents in London.

She studied the house, it was just as she remembered even though the last time she set foot in the house was four years ago. She was confused why she was there but she also wondered who else was in the house with her.

Ariella walked over to living room and found two people sitting on the couch; her heart skipped a beat, her pupils dilated and a faint stutter escaped her lips. The sound captured their attention, they slowly turned around and Ariella found herself staring into her Father’s hazel eyes that sparkled when he smiled and his masculine face with his ash brown locks set in their place, Ariella’s father was very young compared to most, he was in his early to mid-thirties. Ariella turned her attention to the beautiful woman sitting next to him, her brown hair and brilliant emerald eyes that she inherited; it was her Mother. She was breathtaking beautiful, her father always told Ariella she inherited her beauty from her mother especially her eyes, while she got her smile and kind personality from her father.

“Mum…” She muttered before she looked back at her dad.

He nodded and stood up and held Ariella’s mum close in his arms. Ariella always dreamed for this day to come, when she woke up one morning and see that those four years of pain and suffering was nothing more than a distant dream.

Ariella ran towards her parents and held them tight in her embrace; she felt safe, she felt warmth and this euphoria that she thought she would never feel.

“How’s my baby girl?” Her father looked down and slouched to meet his daughter face to face.

Ariella’s eyes shined with tears staring deep into her father’s eyes. She couldn’t form words; instead, she nodded her head and wiped the tears that cascaded down her face.

Her father smiled and straightened his posture, he looked over to Ariella’s mum who replied with a nod. Ariella watched confused as her dad cleared his throat and walked over to the door.

“Dad, where are you going? You can’t leave!” Ariella jumped to conclusions but he wasn’t leaving. Instead, he smiled and raised his hand.

“Ariella, I have a surprise for you.” He placed his hand on the doorknob; there was a smile on her face as he slowly turned the knob but dropped once she saw who stood behind the door. “Meet your sister, Ambrosia.”

She stood petrified staring into those light brown eyes, those certain eyes that tormented her throughout the remainder of her Third year at Hogwarts that caused her nothing but dread and sorrow. She shook her head in disbelief but a smile formed across Ambrosia’s face.

“I guess people are going to know that we’re related after all.”

Ariella let out a scream as she closed her eyes shut. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer in her house in London, instead she found herself in a quaint little room.
