Levi's POV

"A blind, deaf boy! Levi are you blind!?" Hanji Zoe, one of my bestfriends stated.

"You better be glad I don't take that statement personally four-eyes."

"Sorry, sorry but Levi, it's absurd, impossible, just downright crazy! I may be crazy but even I know that it's not able to be done!" She started again.

"I have to agree with Hanji, Levi." My other bestfriend, Erwin Smith said, joining the conversation. "You may have taken care of blind and deaf kids but both of those disabilities with the same person! That's a ginormous risk."

"I know, I know, but I have to try! Imagine how the parents feel! How-how they would feel if I just gave up on them right then and there when they've been searching for a teacher, a caretaker, anyone to help with their son!" My voice became more stern and more annoyed with their discouraging words.

"Levi, in all seriousness me and Erwin both know how serious this is for you and how this adventure could maybe be a one in a million percent chance thing but it's dangerous. Think about your stress level, and how much patience you will have to have with that child. I could never!" Hanji said.

"Exactly!" Erwin said.

"But I'm not you guys!!!" I yelled almost screaming. I cleared my throat trying to calm my self down before continuing. "I'm a whole different person, with different dreams. If this is the dream, the goal that I have then I'll risk my life to pursue it as much as I can, no matter what cost!"

They both paused at my statement and registered what I said before Hanji spoke up.

"Then we'll support you along the way but Levi, please be safe, and give that child your all. You're an amazing person and I believe you can teach that child."

"Yes, Hanji is absolutely right. If this is your life long dream then so be it. We won't stop you." Erwin said.

"Thank you guys." I hugged them.

A few weeks later...

Levi's POV

"I'm gonna miss you guys.." I said with a bit of sadness in my voice."

"We'll miss you too" All the children I've worked with said including Hanji and Erwin.

"Don't forget us shorty!" Farlan, a 15 year old deaf boy I've taught how to speak said.

"Yeah and tell us stories about what he's like Big Bro!" Isabel, a 14 year old blind girl I've been teaching for 2 years now said with a bit of sadness in her voice but with a excited tone all together.

"Make sure to write letters!" Hanji yelled as I walked onto the train.

"I will, haha!!" I said with happiness.

I boarded the train and went off.
